I HAVENT SEEN IT YET BUT THIS IS WHAT I THINK

George lucas is desperate, episodes 1 and 2 were a failure, 3 was great, so hes trying tomake a knock off movie.

I say, dont see it!

I say it looks interesting, and George Lucas was actually asked permission for the movie. The movies from George Lucas from now on are probably going to be side-stories.

I might see it. It looks terrible, but finding out some more about the Clone Wars doesen't sound all bad. Might be intresting.

I agree! hell, Star Wars with real actor is cool because of the special effects, but here, the actors and everything is made with a computer!!

I was wondering if someone would start this topic.

I might see it. The 3D animation kind of threw me off and made me think it was another Battlefront game for a few seconds. But since I'm a big Star Wars fan, I'm going to see it eventually.

I think I'm going to agree with you there. Anyone heard of the Star Wars live-action TV series?

I probably won't see it. To me, it seemed a bit like a "kid" version of Star Wars, another computer animation catastrophe.

What's with all the hate? It looks like a good movie, and I, for one, am certainly going to see it. And episode 3 wasn't great. It was probably one worst of all of the episodes; nothing is more of a deal breaker than an emo main-character.

This movie was made, I believe, at the suggestion of George Lucas after he was shown a trailer for a television series that will have the same style. As I remember, the movie is like a prequel to the series. Also, it's the clone wars; the clone wars is interesting.

In summation: It looks good, and you guys all suck.

Well, it doesn't look awful but that kind of 3D animation doesn't really appeal to me.

Yeah, I remember reading that too.

Let me just say that the only reason I might not see it is that I hardly ever leave the house on my own accord. And also after seeing less than half of the Star Wars Holiday Special (The absolute worst thing to ever happen to Star Wars) my opinions of Lucas were greatly improved.

It reminds me of the animated version Clone Wars series they did before (which btw was very awesome if you get a chance to see it.. do it) but the story seems a bit weak to me... though in the end I'll probably end up seeing it.

You missed out on a "The" in the title. It's the difference between the most badass jedi in the history of forever (Mace loses lightsaber. Mace proceeds to kill an army. Mace gets lightsaber back.) and an upcoming animated movie I might see.

(link) Yes, he can wield lightsabers with his toes. He's that badass.

So, as far as I can tell, the movie will be the same as the animated series, but in 3-d, edited into a feature film, and with more input from george. Still waiting to see if it can be nearly as awesome.

Greivous got asthma from having his chest imploded. that was one of the coolest things ever.

My family and I may end up seeing this movie, just because it's star wars. Can't get much worse than midiclorians and Jar-Jar.

Could've picked a better animation style, though. Remember the Final Fantasy movies?

Yeah, but this is done in the same style as the series will be, and it makes more sense to tone down the graphics for one movie, rather than bring up the level of the entire series. Let's not forget that a different style doesn't make it worse. Who here remembers Samurai Jack? There's certainly more realistic cartoons, but the style fit, and that's what matters most. We'll have to see if this style fits the movie/series too.

Also, the FF movies had insane detail. Yazoo FTW.

Yeah, I'll probably see it too...

Yes, I know. I'm trapped in an abusive relationship.
