Just got back from seeing the Hulk. I <3 it. So much better that the other one, and so many geek references that few get.

Just to name a few: [YAR! There be spoilers ahead. Don't scroll down if you haven't seen it.]

Sterns becomes a villain named the leader.
The movie ended with Banner in Canada, which is the country of origin of another Hulk Villain.
Stark appears in the end, and again references SHIELD and the Avengers.
I /MIGHT/ have seen names referencing Mysterio and the She-Hulk somewhere in the movie.

Also, Stan Lee was there again. :D

I didn't have any major problems with it, aside from the silly car gauntlets, the clap of fire putting outness, or the exclamation of hulk smash as he slams his fists on the ground...Oh, and the fact that it was simultaneously better and worse than the last one. Now, the game...On ps2 at least, is ugh. The last two games both had better graphics on the ps2, and despite the fact that the last movie's game was too damned linear, with no sandboxiness to it, it was still more fun to play, as was ultimate destruction. But anyway, yeah, this movie was good.

Ha, me and my friend had the following conversation after the movie:

Friend: "That guy Mr. Blue? He becomes the Leader."

Me: "The leader? Of what?"

Friend: "He's probably going to be in the Avengers."

Me: "He's the leader of the Avengers? Is he a good guy?"

Friend: "No, he's evil. He hates the Hulk because he's got all the brains and no strength."

Me: "Okay, so he's evil. But in the Avengers. And no one notices?"

Friend: *exasperatedly* "No!"

Me: "Wow, he must be pretty good at what he does."

I'm just amuses that they just chose to ignore the last movie and make a new one, not even a sequel.

The reason for that is that Marvel thought that the other one was so bad that they had to re do it. It deviated from marvel's Hulk by unimaginable leaps and bounds. This time, Marvel took an active role in the movie's writing and production so that it came out a lot better.

Well, for a comic book movie, it was pretty good. At least it wasn't as bad as the last one. I think Iron Man was better, but they were both well done.

I have to agree, being Iron Man was probably the best movie of the year thus far. Hulk wasn't too bad this time around, I think they should have put it out before Iron Man though to avoid the dissapointing comparisons. And I think they shouldn't have featured Tony Start in the commercial and saved it as a surprise. Although this was a marketing ploy that worked as many people who thought Hulk would suck, went rather than download it or wait for DVD just to see if Tony Stark= Iron Man making a cameo in the movie as well, and to see if there would be more sneak peaks at the Avengers.
