Comic Con 2008

There is an annual convention going on in New York City from April 18 - 20. I am not sure if any of you heard of it, but for those who haven't, Comic Con is generally, a place where comic book lovers go to get the latest info, as well as a chance to meet the creators and producers, of their favorite comics. In recent years, however, Comic Con has been broadening its type of entertainment by including exhibits on anime, manga, video games, toys, movies, television shows, and just about everything we discuss on the Media Board. So even if your not into comics there should be something there that catches your interest. If you want more info you can click on the link below.

Just let you guys know I'll be there myself. Yes, that's right, you may get a chance to meet the real Joe. A few days before the convention I'll post on how you can find me, or if you don't want to, that's fine with me.

If I had the chance, sure I'd do it. But I'm in Virginia. That, and I've got 3 Con's I'm going to this year ^^;

I'm definitely going. I'm getting a 4-day-pass (hopefully) and am trying to convince my mother to make a cosplay outfit based on one of my favorite web-comic characters.

I totally wanna have a 2kinds forum party!

I'm envious. I'd love to go...Only it's in New York, and I can't a.) afford to go up there or b.) get the vacation time. We don't have any cons here in Nebraska. :(

1. I are in Alabama, that's like an 18?ish hour drive. I have three small kiddles, and I'm in a master's program that doesn't give a lot of time off.

I'd love to go, but the time and money wont' be there. Are you providing us with a way? :P

I am incredibly jealous of all of you.

Being in Australia... Perth actually.. I don't get cons. At all. I hopefully will be moving to America in a couple of years.. and then I shall try and make it to as many cons as I can.. but even then I will probably be too busy working.

Ah Otakon. One of the many Cons I have to get to in the next few years. Too many people who's stuff I read go there and set up booths.

I understand that this convention is out of reach for a lot of people. Last time I checked the Twokinds Frappr Map, there seemed to be about 12 members within a 100mile radius from New York City. When I come back I will be sure to post a lot of pictures and perhaps a video or two...so I'll make sure none of you miss out on what happened.
