As I have not found a thread for this most excellent movie, I decided to make one.

So, Snakes on a Plane: great movie, or greatest movie?

There should be an option for "horrid use of an excellent actor (see: Samuel L. Jackson)" :P

Are you kidding? SOaP was probably the best movie of the year. It was everything the title implied, and more, without being completely cheesy. Excellent.

I heard your spelling was awful...

And remember Star Wars Episode 2? Yep. They attempted an assassination with centipeide things... and that was only a couple. A bunch of snakes? Now that is stylish. That kinda creativity for an assassination is cool. But snakes on a plane in general? Is pretty lame...

Still-- some people are saying it was good... maybe it is good when you go in with expectations of it being really bad...

I went with 35+ other people to see Snakes on a Plane. We cheered and clapped almost everytime Samuel Jackson did something and we really made some noise when he said his line at the end of the movie.

I thought the movie was actually pretty good even though it sounded so ridiculous.

Probably for awhile. They're busy building bridges and repairing roads right now all over the city.

I loved it. Soap was not a movie made to be good, but a movie made to entertain. The whole theater appluaded at the line, it was cool.

For a movie with so much hype I hear it isn't doing so well.

I haven't seen it myself so I can't really comment on the movie, but it's Samuel motherf'in Jackson people!
