I watched it with subtitles and i must say it's really awesome.
It's Funny, contains action and drama and some creepy girls.
Watch the episodes by youtube or linewire!
And enjoy! :D

The English version is actually extremely good for a dub-- the anime itself is awsome. Getting it on Limewire or youtube is illegal and bad for the industry-- just buy it -- its like 20-30 dollars per dvd--- and theres only 4 dvds-- you can get em cheep on Amazon or Ebay as well. Or rent it-- Netflix has it...

Limewire in general sucks-- I wouldnt suggest anyone using it considering the ammount of security holes it opens up and most things on P2P like Limewire is filled with viruses and spyware-- most of which you will not detect. Bittorrent is much safer.

Anywho-- Ive said it before and I'll say it again-- Fruits Basket is amazing and well worth watching.

I think i've heard of this anime somewhere before, though I'd be darned if I could remember where.

As for limewire or youtube, I plane don't like youtube and my friend's computer crashed because a limewire virus filled it with... Unsuitible for childeren material. ((I'm trying to play the nice person by not directly saying it, is it working?))

Sage, i actually only watched only the subtitles version, but i believe you if you say the english version is good too.And i'll try to get it on dvd as fast as possible.
I'm normally not the person that laughs out loud, but when watching this anime, i just can't stop laughing.
and DuheRahn, Unsuitible for childeren material isn't so true.
When the guys change back into humans after being transformed into animals you can't see anything but a colourfull cloud.

P.S. I think i made some typo's but it's 0:32 as i write this so sorry.

Some girl had the manga of that in school last year, I read a few pages and deemed it stupid and boring. Is it really all that good?

I've got all four DVD's (and need new copies of the last two).
Plus the Manga in Japanese 1-16 and English 1-14.

And I adore it.
Yeah, the start of the story's a little joltish, but once you get past the first few chapters, its enthralling.

Tohru, Kyo, Yuko, Shigure and everyone else in the series are all characters you want to learn about. Characters one can get angry over if they're hurt.

*gushes for a few more paragraphs*

Yeah, its shojo (girl manga) but its a great story and the Anime is really good too. A few scenes where its wrong but hey, it was done with only 4 of the manga released at the time, so the artists couldn't know all the manga-ka's secrets and plans for the series.

The Dub is one of the best cast ones in recent years. The Japanese voice cast is okay, but Yuki's better in English. Girly face or not, he really should have a male voice acter.

So yeah, I think its a great series.
