here's a link to a video that one of the member of the outfit(guild) i'm in, BHO, on the werner server of planetside made of him driving a invincible skyguard, and it wasn't a hack, it was a glitch in the game which normally happens a few times in planetside, I once had a invincible ams, and a fury at one time. ;P

(EDIT: Actually now you mentioned it This is a screamo video and a kick [censored] british band ;P but we're talking about the little skyguard that could... kick Vanu whiney [censored]. ;P )

God that game was bugged to non-existance... Visible stealthers... invulnerable units... subterrainian planes...

Yet, it was fun... despite the nearly universal similarity of the continents.

Well for one thing PS is not like halo where you jump in kill a few people and go to work, it's tactical and you need to spend hours in a squad to get a full advantage of it of a constant attack scheme on serveral continents and certain caves. But of course if it's very tactical, it's harder to understand and play, but when you become a veteran (like me ;P) in the game then it's worth the effort, and have fun in the process, I would tell you more info, but you won't understand most of it. ;)

I've played it, for about half a year. It was a great game, if you could find a good group and a good battle. Wasn't around when either expansion hit, so I'm blissfully unaware of them. (And the "2-year subscriper" sniper cert has ensured I'll never go back.)

If you couldn't, you were likely just ninjaing bases or zurging. I loved the tactical feel of the game, but really the tactics were all the same because the only actual difference between most places was the color of the scenery. The only standout I could really mention was the one ice continent with the high cliffs.

I think they got rid of that, I'm sure I see lots of newbs carrying that heavy scout rifle, which you get in the 2 year subscriber. Even I haven't paid for 2 years and I can get both sniper rifles. Plus on that note, the heavy scout rifle sucks. It wastes sniper bullets and it takes 5 shots from it, to kill a guy, which between that time, they run away like a little girl. T_T bolt rifle ftw. 2 shots to kill a guy and if you have a spot to kill them when they're hiding. You can be amazing. *points at sniper silver award he has* hint hint.

ceryshen, good cont./planet (I have no idea why they change it from 1 planet and serveral conts. to serveral planets...) but because of the high cliffs, only people with air veh certs can get around it easierly. Like yesturday, we had a stalemate between the nc against tr, and because we couldn't take the cap we had to go around the capital and get the bottom bases, but of course the tr doesn't want to our vehs around their capital to take the south bases. T_T darn TR hiding in the capital. We just gave up and went to another cont./planet. >.>
