As you may or may not know, Heckler und Koch, the German arms producer famous for the MP-5, has made a gun called the HK-416.

The HK-416 features the exterior of an M-16 (made by armalite), but the inside is very different. The HK-416 uses the internals of the HK G36 Assault rifle, which corrects many of the jamming problems of the M16.

Armalite is suing H&K for "using their gun model without paying royalties"

So, who do you think should take home the money? armalite or H&K?

armalite. if i took a VW bug's body but put myown motor in it i would satill have to pay royaltys for the shell.

They should change the body to not look so much like the M-16 certainly, but other than that it's a totaly diffrient gun.
