Hmm, I just read this article off Foxnews.com.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,185747,00.html

Apparently North Korea didn’t want any food from the UN a few months ago. But now they wont it back, to "give to the women and children"

Bull... Anyway, the UN say that people are starving and about 2 million people in North Korea have died from famine

The UN is going to do a two year program to help the North Koreans.

But I don’t think this is the right approach to this problem. I don’t agree with the UN most of the time, I see pictures of the North Korean Army doing certain things to the people.

DO NOT click this image if you have a weak stomach.

That whole country has been going down the drain for the past 20 years. I cant understand why they don’t do what the South Koreans are doing, and look how good their gov’t is.

1-Democracy
0-Communism

I just don’t want to help that country its a threat to America, a bigger threat to Japan and South Korea *cough* Nuclear Developments *end cough* And of course the UN isn’t doing squat about it, it almost never does.

Any comments on anything?

No no no... it goes like:
"Ha! Looks like Mr. I'm-too-good-for-the-rest-of-the-freaking-world ain't so great anymore is he? Pawned :P"

xD

anyways, yea, NK should just rejoin with the South and allow SK to rule over. It would allow everyone to be happy :D

I saw some pictures smugled out of North Korea a while back. It's becoming like Afganistan. The country is on the verge of turning to dust.

Despotic ruling of a country, something thats been in vogue for thousands of years. But now the difficult choice; give North Korea aid in the hopes that it alieviate's some of the famine, or draw the hardline and say no, not after everything you've done. Either way it's the "little" people who lose.

I've got to agree with you on the U.N.'s idiocy in modern polotics, they have failed to resolve countless issues, but some good does come from them as well. The World Food Program, if it ceased to exist, would mean that millions of Africans would starve, but in some countrys they flood the "market" with cheap food, putting local farmers out of bussiness.

*Wrenkild looks depressed*

I'm sure I'll feel better after some sleep

until next time, enjoy your weekend everybody. (am going clothes shopping tomorrow with my mother... talk about mission impossible)
