Officially this is NOT necroposting, since this post is entirely on-topic.

I saw this movie today. Oh my god... wow... little weird in a few places (Myrtle=perverted ghost!!!!!) but good. And the twins are HAWT. Just had to get that off my chest...

I don't know, with the quality of even the books going steadily downhill and considering the "Quality" of the other movies I'm really not looking forward to this. My mom hasn't seen the books and she likes the movies, so she'll probably rent it when it comes out on video. I will probably be ignoring it while listening to music. I tried watching the third one with her but I couldn't get halfway through it without throwing my arms up and leaving in disgust.

This movie is the best yet. The director this time actually WENT to an english boarding school, and knew what went on. I think it's good.

Did he actually read the book this time? Probably not, though the dragons do look pretty.

They skipped almost half of the book's plot.

I shudder to think what the next movie will be like, if this one was so rushed.
