Walking out of the concert last night, my voice was half-gone, as well as my hearing, but it really didn't matter. :P The concert was amazing! As my friend/roommate had said, it was probably the loudest croud at any concert I've been to!

What was cool prior to Bon Jovi taking the stage, the large screens on stage displayed a number that you could send a text message to, and then the screens would display those text messages marquee style. Some of 'em were pretty funny. :P "dan where r u sitting -david" "we drove around the capitol 5 times to get here" "Whos the hottie in section 225?" "IM the hottie in section 225!" "bon jovi rox andreas sox" "the blonde in the third row is cute..." "Go Bucky" (The concert was in Madison, WI, btw. :P ) Anyway, there were a lot of other funny ones, but I can't remember 'em off the top of my head.

The opening act was a local band from the area. What happened actually was that on Monday there was a contest that was held to see who would open up for Bon Jovi for this particular tour date. There were six bands total. I don't know much on how it went down, since an MC touched briefly on the subject before introducing the winning opening act. In any case, they were pretty good. I was paying more attention to the text messages, though. :P

Once the messages dissapeared from the screen and the lights dimmed, the audience knew it was time for Bon Jovi. The croud errupted in cheers. They played a great mix between new and old songs. The croud loved it, and it looked like the guys were have a lot of fun on stage. ;) One part that I thought was really funny was during "Bad Medicine." Jon was over at one side of the stage shaking hands n' hugging members of the croud while singing when he got engulfed in a mass of girls. Laughing a bit, he got out of it and yelled out to the rest of the band, "Whoa, whoa! Hold on a sec! *band stops playing* These girls are crazy! ........... I like it! :P " Overall, I really loved the concert and the songs they played were awesome. ;) I had a lot of fun!

that sounded/looked awsome

so i hope that ringing noise you heared was long and fun :P

the last concert i went to was alexisonfire concert in manchester acadamy
they were amazing but it was in a hall like room, but smaller so the song were just echoed throughout... and the crowd, pushing and shoving trying to shove some cigs in my mouth by almost falling over me, and i think they spiked my water... and seeing people really REALLY high is oddly a funny experience.

and i believe that bass players are wierd.... 1st support band the bass player atempted to throw the bass over his head... causeing him to hit is face and almost taking out the front row..... 2nd support band i didn't listen to them me and a friend just decided to go across the street and give are ears a rest before alexisonfire, but even across the street we felt the base and faintly heared it and it was like BSABBABBSBSBSBSBSBBSABABA contsantly....
but the base player for alexisonfire was kinda ok but he was flying his bass all over the place and at the end he got tired and just rested his head on the guitarest's backs....so thats still very wierd :?

anyway bon jovi is a very good band but for me i don't really like old rock bands i only prefer new rock (mainly alexisonfire) the oldest new rock bands is the red hot chilli peppers but they are too amazing to not like. :P
