I have to say...it was a great movie, either if your

A: 8 years or old or less
-or-
B: so knocked up on drugs you think your 8 or younger.

It was a good movie and all, but it was a young viewers movie.

and to think i gave up Lord Of War to see it @.@

I LOVED THE CORPSE BRIDE!! Not as good as the Nightmare before Christmas but still it was a very good movie. (Lord of War is good but it involves a LOT of talking and has little action.)

Hell yes, I was almost about to make a thread for this movie myself :D but you people are obviously kool enough to beat me to it.

The contrast between the drab upper world and the colorful and happy world of the dead just ruled. It was too short! I wish there were more of the energetic musical numbers like the one in the bar. This movie could have been like, twenty minutes longer. But can you imagine how long it took those guys to do all those little frames? Especially when they're making the movement appear so fluid, like when Victor flicks his hair, and it looks lifelike . HOLY CRAP

The spiders were great. Come to think of it, so much stuff in this movie just made me smile <3 <3 <3 When I watch other movies that are musicals, I just feel embarassed for the actors half of the time. Not the case with Corpse Bride and the Nightmare Before Christmas...

I want to see this so bad. And yes, Mack, it would've been tedious. It's tedious making 10 second films in stopmotion of crappy quality. XD

If they do, a little part of me will die inside.

I just got back from seeing it, and I loved it. As for those who didn't like the ending, you must have no romantic bone in your body. Everyone got their just desserts - a very good way to end. I wish there was more musical numbers, but oh well. And it was great how the land of the living was drab and dead, where as the land of the dead was bright and full of life. (Burton's homage to Oz, I think...) And I wonder if anyone else noticed the plate on Victoria's piano? 'Harry Housin' As in Ray Harry Housin, creator of stop-motion animation (he did King Kong, Clash of the Titans, and other early ones). It was awesome how the film began and ended with the butterflies, and I loved the scene when the dead come up to the land of living and found their families. That was cute. I give the movie a 15/10, and <3 <3 <3. Go Tim Burton!

I just say the movie, and I LOVED it. If it's for eight year old, someone take away my permit and let me go back to being 8. I don't want a sequel but I want another one. I love Nightmare before Christmas also. I can't believe it was 12 years since it came out. Sorry, I got a bit off topic in here. :)
