I've started running out of books to read, and I thought maybe it was time to discuss it. You can post you favorite books or suggested one. Or for the heck of it how much you read. Lets see if anyone here reads anything besides twokinds :)

I loved Dan Brown's books. Just started the Pendragon series, and I think its starting off good

(Edit: Beats me why it got moved to the media board. Oh well)

I don't read to often, but when I find a book I like I read the whole thing. Right now I'm reading Sphere By Micheal Crichton.

Same here, for the most part. I read stuff required by school, and that's about it.

Well, as a certified bibliophile, I read just about everything with words on it. Some things I like more than others, such as science fiction, fantasy, stuff like that... but I'm not really too good at picking anything specific.

I suggest... EVERYTHING. That should hold you over.

RA: Readers Anonymous! That's my club. I'd say anything/ everything that is held together with a binding or on the computer screen. Oh, that does include school books. Some are very cool.

Uh... just a minor question...

Doesn't SAYING that your an anonymous reader make you NOT anonymous anymore... not that it matters or anything, of course. Besides... it sounds like my kind of people.

I only read books that interest me, which unless it's about Wolves, someone I know would have to recomend one to me. My favorites so far would be The Sight, and The Revealing of the White Wolf, as well as Child of the Wolves. Most sci-fi books bore the crap out of me... but they help me get to sleep sometimes, kinda like math class.

It's like AA or similar. So far there are 6 members (it's not really real). My sister, some of my friends and me. One of my friends mom said it and I took it as my one and only fave phrase about the amount I read.

Sigh...I read a lot. A very way much lot. A really lot. An uber lot.

Wayyyyy more than 20/year, I'd say. Tons of fantasy, both epic, classic, and dark. Romance for filler when I'm waiting for my fantasy authors to churn out more books, and historical fiction, humor, and horror when I'm in the mood. If you like things dark, try Anne Bishop. Alice Borchardt writes a nice series about werewolves (she is Anne Rice's sister, btw). Elizabeth Haydon's books are very good...nice epic fantasy series, there. Jane Lindskold has a very good series going about a girl raised by wolves...I can't wait for the next installment of that one. ^^ Also Carol Berg's trilogy that starts with "Transformation" is pretty sweet.

Uhhh...I also recommend the Shannara series by Terry Brooks as a good classic standby. It got me started on fantasy novels, and I never looked back. (That was when I was 11 or so, so....looonnng time)

David Gemmell is a living God, in the world of fantasy nun can compare to the intensity of his work Brooks, Jorden, Eddings nun can make you see and fell a battle like Gemmell. If you read any kind of fantasy pick up Legend it is his first book after that you want to read everything he has ever written.

I read a flipping LOT. I'm sorta between books right now. Finished the latest Pendragon book (book six, Rivers of Zadaa) and am impatiently waiting book Seven, The Quillian Games. I might re-read DragonWorld, since that was such a good book. Or maybe I should try some Anne Mc Caffery. Or Kiss Kiss Switch B**** My Uncle Oswald, by Roald Dahl.

Anne McCaffrey is a good choice...especially her earlier work. Pern, of course...and her brainship and crystal singer ones were fun to read as well.
