Metal is my favorite, followed by Rock. I'm too lazy to open my iTunes, so I'll see what I remember off the top of my head.

Finntroll
Rob Zombie
The Beatles (In the morning, when I am really tired, their songs are hilarious. Seriously. )
Alestorm
Aerosmith
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Dethklok, duh!
The old Metallica, sometimes..
Iron Maiden
Guns N' Roses
Flogging Molly

Also, I have some days when I feel like listening to reggae. I only have one Bob Marley CD, though. Uprising. That's literally all I have of reggae.

For dancing around like a retard, I like techno. Listening alone? I used to, not anymore. My favorite techno-man is Andrew W.K. He is really good, give him a listen if you like techno.

Edit: OH YEAH! I also like Rammstein and Weird Al. Forgot to mention them.

My new favorite cd, at least my favorite one that I have, is the album Indestructible by Disturbed. I just bought it today, and all of the songs are awesome. It's one of the few cds I own where I can honestly say that I love all of the songs.

heh never saw this thread till today. Hmmm, as far as mainstream music goes I listen to a range of things. I don't stick on one genre, if I liek it I'll listen to it.

I'm also a Electronica producer myself. I make IDM/Glitch/Breakbeat/Industrial stuff... which has been dubbed Nuffcore. Find my stuff: Here.

Being an active producer I have th pleasure of mixing with a crowd of like minded peeps and I spend a lot of time listening to their stuff too. Here are some of th best.

I won't list every band and interpreter I like because it will be way too long and nobody will actually read through the whole thing, but if I have to nail it down to my favourites, it would definitely be the Beatsteaks, a german rock band (Click Click), Jack Johnson, Die Fantastischen Vier, a very popular hip hop group of four guys (also german), and Wax Tailor, who I only found recently. Aside from those, I listen to a lot of noname interpreters from about every style of music.

Pretty much anything really. Exept emo, classical and jazz.

But the only bands/artists I have ever been dedicated to are:

Eminem
Soil

And that's it. Now, Soil's not very famous, so here's a link to one of their songs. My favorite song at the moment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cof7TZrjGMA

I've got a wide taste in music... anything from classical to heavy metal.

Hate rap though...

Right now I'm caught in between Coheed and Cambria, and Dream Theater. However I did get to see Kansas last night. b ^-^ d Awsome!
