I have never seen either of them. >_<

Damned dictionaries. >_>

If ever I want to figure out how a word is pronounced, I ask my English-obsessed friend*. I found out last week that I've been pronouncing "sadist" wrong for well over two years.

*Or, y'know, those little things on online dictionaries that say the word for you.

The only downside to using Zazzle for shirts is that they're so darn expensive. Upwards of $20 for a single t-shirt. That's out of my budget for just about any worn piece of clothing. It'd have to be damned good for me to actually want to spend that coin for one item.

The only other site I know of where you can make your own stuff is Cafe Press, but they're not that much cheaper. *shrugs*

Väri gud fästshäptär. Sertänli mäjd mi laf.

That bumber sticker seriously made my day so far. If I had a car, I'd buy it.

And dictionaries are fun! Escpesially when in school. Not for me directly, but my friends has the fun habits of looking up intresting words and then walk around saying them all day.

I like the T-shirts you made before, Fast, a lot too. (See his Photobucket account).

I actually failed the tests in class, when our teacher tried to make us study these keys by heart; but I found it easy enough to read. Except the "tailgating", considering I never have seen that word before O o...

Granted, the "th" symbol and the "e" (from 'then') symbol, we never saw in class. I prefer the normal English spelling, much easier to read and write :P .

Is "sadist" pronounced like "sadism" or "sadistic"? Dictionary.com isn't giving an option to hear it :P .

I made a Cafe Press account last night with the goal of using it for that bumper sticker, but for some reason or another whenever I selected my design from my uploaded list, it wouldn't go through. Just refreshed the blank sticker. Buncha crap anyhow, :c

I might actually buy that sticker, seeing as my current ones are starting to wear off my car. More than likely I'll be working on another design tonight (I make it sound so utterly important!). Something along the lines of "If a bumper sticker could change your vote, then don't vote." Dunno, something smart to say in response to all the election ads.

@Fireball: Some of those I can't post on the forums because of the adult content, but hey, if you guys know how to get to my photobucket (username: mpukace), feel free to peek around. Fair warning, I do have adult content hidden in a few crawlspaces there.

Let's give this a shot using Fast's fancy symbols:

I get "sædIst" when I write it out, which is the same pronunciation you give it. Where is this ĭ that you're using coming from, though?

Ohhhhh, hard and soft vowels! Those letters aren't actually in the phonetic alphabet. Let me see if I can get you a list.

Semivowels
w – won, which, languish, question
y – yet, canyon, bouillon

Front Vowels
i – evil, meter, eel, eat, sea
I – it, stint, stitch, britches
e – acorn, ape, faint, gray
Є – bet, threat, many, friend
æ – at, plan, plaid, ma’am

Central Vowels
ә – utter, but, blood, does

Back Vowels
u – ooze, too, rude, lewd
Ʊ - oomph, good, pull, wolf
o – go, rode, toe, tow, though
ɑ - father, spa, otter, stop

Edit 2: Aww... they took down two of them because I was using the copyrighted images for the GOP and Democratic Party. Phhhht... didn't know they were copyrighted!

I just googled. :?
If you wanna make me a complete phonetic list, I'd be glad to use it.

As such, I only mentioned them existing somewhere in your photobucket account ^^.

;) I'm not against anyone browsing, just want to give them forewarning in case they're on public computers. I can't currently to into my own PhotoBucket right now because I know the front page shows one of my t-shirt designs with Blotch's "Tongue-Tied" drawing on the front. I'm all for propogating fellatio wherever I can, but not when the clueless red-head next to me can look over at my end of the desk and see furry deliciousness.

What if he's furry? :P

I think I linked a list of the phonetic alphabet somewhere on page one or two... not sure. It's a large .jpg image. Might take some squinting to read it properly.
