Yet.

Currently the amount of equipment necessary for a bipedal bot would be bulky and rather delicate, or so I have been lead to believe. While possible, yes, it is not quite practical at this point in time to go for a bipedal bot for combat.

No Idiot in there right mind would make a self-aware robot.HAVE THEY NOT SEEN TERMINATOR?While self-aware robots could be smart and act like humans they would find that they are being use and like any scorned human women would go ballistic on there master.

You forgot to space andtherefore but other then that you got it right.

Even if we took all the care of them in the world they would see were using them for a war.Nothing would stop them for getting pissed about being used as ragdolls in a war.
