As stated above I have had an Idea (thanks to Spiffman) for:
From the people that were in the forum for Twokinds the web comic, a game to end all, and take names: (cheap advertising for Twokinds best web comic on the web.)
FURRY FORTRESS
Who I need:
Artists
Skinners
Modelers
Programmers
Riggers
Testers
Feel free if not encouraged to bring your friends into this to help and get put in the credits.

This is going to be a source mod if it works out and we get some people to help out. (Also it will more than Likely piss off some stupid anti furs which will make me laugh.)Any who I was thinking something like team fortress two except with furry characters and a different not so capture the control points gameplay this will more than likely take a bit of time since no one here is a professional game designer that can build a game for free.
The process will be fun hopefully and have a lot of excitement. The characters are really up to the artists and will be voted on to see which one will be used for each class.
The classes will be the same as team fortress 2's except if there is a majority of people that want to change the classes around to something different. Weapons are totally up for grabs and will be voted on as well.
Input is always good and comments are even better.
For anyone who doesn't know the classes are as follows:
Scout: recon
Sniper: long distance kills
Medic: doctor of the group
Heavy: brings the fire to a fire fight
Demoman: Blows sh** up
Pyro: OMGWTFBBQs people
Soldier: All around fighter
Engineer: Builds stuff
Spy: sneaky [censored]
As for the weapons they are really up to you guys I don't really care what weapons they have or use just don't go off the deep end and say OMG A [censored] NUKE! I would have to say maybe a handgun each their main weapon then a secondary weapon and of course melee.
If there are any other questions/ ideas please let me know and remember suggestions are welcome.

Any flaming and I will get angry and start pistol whipping people.

Lemme get this straight.

You want a bunch of people with those kinds of talents to work for free for a furry mod.

For no previously stated salary.

That is something that will take 1000+ hours of programming, coding, skinning, modeling, and all sorts of other stuff.

It's a nice idea, but not even close to being a realistic one I'm afraid. It took the guy behind Half Life 2 mod minerva: Metastasis two and a half years to make it. And that was using all the models, textures, etc. from HL2 and not building it from scratch like you propose.

I was thinking division of labor have at least 2 mappers and pretty much 2 of all except the skinners and riggers.
I also model so theres one modeler down.

The only practical way for someone to do this idea is on Warcraft III. but I am in no condition to even know how to create any of those wonder full map warcraft III maps you see on the custom games these days that are so addictive like Naruto wars, Dota, Footmen frenzy, MMORPGS, and even tower defence games.

I know a few mappers and at least 2 that would love to help.

I read the word "riggers" wrong twice. =/

Anyway, this seems terribly unrealistic.

Cool idea, but it does not seem likely at this point.

At first, I was like "oh, hey, this doesn't sound like a bad idea. Remodeling the TF2 characters wouldn't be that hard if we had one or two talented people here."

But then I was like "Wait, this is about making a completely new mod, which means we're going to go through what Valve went through, provided that we get a team of professionals in the first place?"

Might as well edit some pixels from Gang Garrison 2.

EDIT: Also, Team Furtress website.

It is too constructive. But maybe the point is lost on you. Let's drive it home.

YOU WILL NEVER EVER GET THAT KIND OF PROJECT DONE WITHOUT A HIGHLY EXPERIENCED TEAM TO AID YOU, AND A HIGHLY EXPERIENCED TEAM IS NOT GOING TO WORK FOR FREE WHEN THEY COULD BE DOING THE SAME QUALITY WORK FOR HIGH 5 TO LOW 6 FIGURE SALARIES.

SHOW US THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

If you ever do plan on paying folks, I'd love to work in... ah... management.

I could manage you guys.

For money.

Yeah.

I'm going to sleep now.
