Alright, I'm sure many of you have already heard and may already have an opinion relating to the "racism" in Resident Evil 5, being that the main character is a white man slaughtering Africans. Now, I want to hear your opinions on this all.

Personally, I don't see it at all. If you look at it from the perspective of a white man killing a lot of black people, then maybe yes, but if you look at a super glue in the right perspective, it looks like a deadly deadly weapon. The game is set in Africa, so it makes sense for you to fight infected Africans, just like how it made sense for a Spanish village to have Spanish people as the infected.

Really, the idea just stinks of hyper sensitivity over the whole thing.

It's all a load of [censored]. Did black people cry about RE4 where you kill Spanish people? [censored] no. It's only [censored] racist when you're killing black people.

I don't think it's even black people. I think most of these claims come from oversensitive white folks.

Highly likely. If you'll notice, it isn't even mostly blacks calling "RACISM!" anymore, unless it's in court. Most respectable black people I meet refer to the less respectable ones as niggers, and don't mind at all when I use the term in the same context. If, however, I use it around them and there happens to be ANY white people around, they'll immediately yell at me for being racist, even with my black friend laughing the whole time.

Anyway, it doesn't make any sense to me how someone can see something like this and instantly jump to the conclusion of "RACISM!" If you're going to create a game based in Africa, then there'd logically be a lot of Africans, wouldn't there?

A while back, blacks were complaining they weren't being treated equally. EQUAL TREATMENT =/= SPECIAL TREATMENT

1-Not having blacks in resident evil 5 would be just be geographically wrong.

This game is as racist as any game where one person shoots another person of a different race, which means, it's not actually racist at all. Honestly, it really pisses me off because I know that if Capcom had made the enemies all white, then people would be crying "racism" for it being an all-white game. You can't win in these situations.

I don't understand instigators. They just want to see a fight. Kind of like ewes or does wanting to see rams and bucks fight. You hear that, instigators!?! You're all ewes and does!!!

More than that, it wouldn't make sense from the standpoint of the game itself. Sorta like if, instead of fighting Nazi in call of Duty 2, because it's racist to have Nazi, you fought a heard of rabid elephants who fired bullets from their snouts.

Well, the whole thing is really sensitive, however overall i don't even think it's possible to have racisim in a game unless it's like...you have all of the people you shoot be mexican's who are gang members, or you play the main character in a game who's a black gangster that gets back into a suburban town with his "homies", then does a bunch of mission's to help his overall rating, runs from cops, and then goes and does drugs, or sleeps with hookers, or maybe it could be a recent arrival from russia, or maybe an italian in maimi....now that, that is far more "racist" than shooting african zombies in AFRICA
