Battlefield Bad Company:

Ok this game should kick major arse. What other game lets you mow down trees with a chain gun, blow holes in walls and cut barbed wire with your knife. A game from which no FPSer as ever seen before.

Personally, i call it the penicale of FASOMENESS!!

But you tell what you think for those who plan on getting it. Or if it just caught your eye.

....(I'm going to [censored] Snipe until my trigger finger falls off...then my middle...then my ring finger....than my hand altogether.

I just can't wait to blow up [censored] in this [censored] goddamn awsome [censored] of a [censored] [censored] game!!!!111111one11111eleven111!!1!11

So...You haven't played Crysis then? (Note, I cannot promise the barbed wire part; don't recall running into it in the small amount of time I've had to play my demo. The trees and the walls though, that's doable. Quick tip: don't stand under trees when you do something to knock them down, they will bash you in the head.)

I keep hearing about Crysis but it hasn't really caught my attention.

I'm strictly Military FPS oh and yes.

AH-64 Apachie Longbow and one of the russian helicopters(I'm not familiar with russian made vehicles all that much)

Don't hype Crysis up too much, it's not the best game I've ever played. Certainly one of the most beautiful, though. Apparently there's going to be at least two more Crysis games, one of which might be called 'World in Crysis'. Awesome.

On topic: I can't imagine what Bad Company's multiplayer must be like. What's the point of bullets when you have nades? Everyone's going to spam everything. It's like the Anti-TF2 or something.

It depends, everything can own something else so it's all balanced. The demo goes public Thursday so then i can tell you what it's really like but from what i saw it involves alot of teamwork but it's fun as hell.

Isn't this the game that comes in the regular version, but also in a gold version that has superior weapons and gear?

Superior weapons and gear won't help you. Not when everything's fair game for a contact grenade.

I cannot wait to get my hands on this game. I like the part about realistic environment damage and the large scale destruction. Problem is i heard that each side will only have 12-players maximum. Quite dissapointed actually, given that the maps will probably be huge.

M1A2 Abrams Tank>Grenade.

However...in BF2...

M1A2 Abrams Tank<Grenade Spam. (Hopefully, this isnt the case for Bad Company.)

Okay. So in my experience: Map Exploiter > Chopper Whore > Tank Whore > Nade/Rocket/MG Spammer/Sniper > Run 'n' Gun > Blind Charger > New Guy

Tanks in BF2 only get taken down by grenades if you're playing against bots. Real people have completely different tactics. That is, if a buggy full of C4 can be considered a tactic. But if everything else is fair game for a contact grenade...

Get to da tank.

Tell me how the demo goes, though. DICE has never let me down yet.

I'll tell you what a real tactic is... Its getting into a chopper, landing it on a rooftop, calling a supply drop right next to your chopper, then getting into the second seat and mowing down all players with the chain gun/auto-cannon and taking out tanks with the TV-guided missiles.

Note:If done on the US starting base building's rooftop top of the smallest version of that Chinese oilfield map in bf2, you should own. AT missiles will not reach you and should be able to take out tanks before they get within range.
