We all have the game idea that would rock the planet, nay, the universe. Share yours, or some not-yet-realized sequels (For Example, Elder Scrolls V)

-MMORPG set in the Stephen King universe. It would be amazing, but you'd have to be crazy to do it.

-An RPG that had the option of RTS gameplay if you own enough cities or somesuch.

-A BattleTech-esque game with the customization of Armored Core. I like the AC series, but what I'd like to see is some first person, tank-on-two-legs action. (MechWarrior 5, maybe? Even though there prolly won't be any more of those games. T_T)

-Diablo 3, and Elder scrolls V.

Ok if I understand, here is my idea,

Realism + MMORPG + Hack and Slash Real Time Fighting + Gigantic World with lots to do = The most addicting game ever

When I say realism + MMORPG that means no levels (just guesses), no 'you hit for 127 damage' messages, no unprogressing storyline, and no monster levels - everything like levels and damage dealt is guessed.

Hack and Slash with a MMORPG would create a very nice combination in my opinion, it prolly would attract more people as well.

A gigantic world with lots to do should be self explanatory... with lots of cool areas (floating castles, alternative dimensions, spirit realm, underworld, god realm, mirror realm, the glades, forests, the skies, desert, light worlds and dark worlds, caves, mines, ocean world, etc...), with lots of Quests that ARE NOT tediously boring and don't give you retarded rewards, with a lot of weapons, monsters, secrets, spells, scrolls, etc...

Now, for it to truly be my dream game,
The Races would include three humanoids with a fourth humanoid race from which they all descended from. The Races would include three beast races with a fourth one from which they all descended from.

To level up and become stronger there should be multiple paths to achieve such things, your skills should not be limited by anyone, if you want a skill, beg a master to teach it to you or something.

There should be a limit of the body, from where the player should realize that they cant become any stronger, untill they reach ascension or a more godlike state, then they should level up until they realize the limit of ascention.

Mortal -> Ascended -> God -> Archgod

Weapons should be able to be enchanted with a power (extra magick damage) / transfused with a better element (which would make the weapon stronger and have more ability for enchants) / binded with a soul (to make the weapon be alive and be able to fix and upgrade itself) / something else...

Gods and Archgods should only be allowed to realease minimal power in the realm of mortals.

Ummm... I am tired of typing.

Diablo 3 is likely in the works.

Anyways, a remake of Saga Frontier with a better combo system and more developed areas would be wonderful. Best RPG ever in my opinion.

Ragnarok Online 2 released to the rest of the world and not just those greedy Koreans and Japanese jerks. The game looks great and all the music is done by Yoko Kanno.

kingdom hearts, but instead of going around disney worlds you fight in worlds that come from different animes. for example full metal alchemist world, baki the grappler, lucky star (now that would be as awkward as hell) etc.

Actually I think such a game exists. It was a fantasy type game though, if that's a turn off to you. I'll see if I can find out what it was called.

Now for me? Hmm...

If Jak 2, Rachet and Clank 3, Sly Cooper Gang of Thieves all came together and made some sort of holy platforming game.

Future like Elder Scrolls. Seriously, Elder Scrolls would be holograms and stuff and swords with neon glowing lights.

One of two.

Either an RPG where it's VR from the POV of the main char, running around and battling with sword and fist and spell and the like...

Or a MMORPG of Starcraft, similar to World of Warcraft.

MMO game based around the Warhammer 40,000 Inquisition.

Seriously. You get the most of the massive universe there, and get to have fun running around and purging [censored].

Though otherwise?

My dream game is something very similar to Morrowind, though much, MUCH larger, and maybe online (With small player numbers, though, and a constantly refreshing map).

A VR fantasy game that allows you to actually feel things. You touch something hot, it feels hot. You get stabbed, it feels like you're being stabbed. With the option to turn pain down or off of course.

Dream Game-
Oblivion Online (elder Scrolls IV best game since evah)- Larger world, no fast travel, flying mounts, flying spells, weapons have a chance to glance off rather than just reduces damage and have unarmored/protected parts (normally in Oblivion your armor just reduces the damage you take- but if something strikes you it hits and does damage, doesn't matter where it hits either. Leather armor should prevent weak blunt hits but only reduce damage from arrows and blades, chain should give good protection from anything piercing like arrows, daggers- and any sword you would use a stabbing motion with like a Rapier or maybe a longsword. And of course plate should have a high chance or deflecting arrows/piercing/slashing/crushing attacks but should be expensive to maintain and should limit movement etc etc)
And the focus should be on factions rather than monsters or just random NPCs. People should join game set guilds rather than hundreds of people making their own. This allows the game creators to drive their players rather than expecting them to drive themselves. You choose to be in a group - you are now forced in a situation to meet new people and work together. Each Guild should have a focus ranging from Evil guilds that focus on disrupting other guilds (difficult to get into, and limits your friendly cities but most missions are dangerous and interesting- and often put you into PVP situations) to trade Guilds (mining, guard duties and creating items- shipping supplies) and Forest Guides (missions to keep monster populations down, protecting wild life and helping travelers through dangerous areas).

Events should be a focus- there should be something changing the game every week or ever other week. A continuing story line - invaders from a far away land or world - leads into more cities being attacked by pirates- and not just people saying they were- actually have these things happening.

Team work should make the game even more fun- but people should still be able to function well alone.

Voice chat should be allowed as well as text messaging - if a place is really crowded and everyones talking - you should hear a lot of it with options to filter whatever you want out.

The game should be skill focused and not level - people should practice their skills and improve rather than kill monsters all day. Thus why the Oblivion system for leveling is good- increase your set skills and that increases your level... practice alchemy? Make potions- earn XP...

Selling stuff to your guild's NPCs should increase their wealth or supplies improving their overall rank. The higher the Rank of your guild the better the guild should look. If your guild ranks highly in wealth your guild halls and stores etc etc should look better and have better equipment. If your guild is lacking in food supplies moral should be low - crime in the cities your guild is present in may rise. Selling food and supplies to your guild will help things like that so keeping your guild in balance is part of your game. A guilds people should define how the guild is rather than just being a static creation in a game.

A MMORPG needs people to be fun - but those people need to be driven together to create an online world. Once you have a world with people - you need something to keep people interested - and it shouldnt be leveling up and being the best. You should start as an apprentice and work up to being Elite over a long period of time - and after reaching the level of Master you should be forced into a higher roll such as leading assaults or larger missions. Some people might not feel suited to leading and should be able to choose to stay at elite- capable of more freedom at the cost of never being "the best" stat wise- but your skill should more than make up for it. (Skill should be a driving force over numbers- thus why Oblivion is so much fun- it doesn't matter that you have 100 in Blades- because your getting pelted by arrows from far away - the guy with a 20 in blades is more likely to survive if he also has the skill to avoid multiple incoming projectiles at once, which is moving side to side- behind cover- through a forest patch rather than along a road - even getting to high ground and ducking helps avoid projectiles).

All of this is possible - your combining some simple aspects from FPS - head shots do more damage if they dont kill outright (not saying they should but an arrow to the dome should hurt more than an arrow to the shoulder) and your adding some more chance into the current oblivion style system - which isnt difficult it just takes more processing power or whatever to figure out what did what.

It's taxing on the system to have all this but there isnt a game out there that comes close. all the current MMO's are all the same boring crap. It's about time someone did something original and revolutionary...
