what's your all-time favorite weapon in games? i personally like rockets and plasma grenades. the homing launcher from TimeSplitters 2 was awesome too.

I'd have to say my all time favorite weapons were:

The rail driver from Red Faction, because come on, who DOESN'T love a railgun that shoots through walls, and can see through them too? XD

The Fusion Rocket cannon from Red Faction, because, well [CENSORED] that was an awesome gun. XD

And last but not least, Ratchet and Clank's Leviathan Flail. Talk about crowd control. :D

Well depends on the game.

Legend of Zelda:
- Loved the Hookshot/Longshot and the magic (Din's Fire, Nayru's Love, and Farore's Wind)

- Biggoron's Sword. Charging this bad boy up for a spin attack looked SICK!

- Bombchu. Where else can you find a bomb that looks like a mouse? No where that's what!

Halo/Halo 2:
- Beam Rifle, man this gun sounded sick when you shot it. Nice design as well.

- Plasma Grenades. Stickied. Nuff said.

- Energy Sword. One hit kill? Good enough for me.

Kingdom Hearts:
- Ultima Weapon. DUDE, it has the word ULTIMA in it. That's good enough reason.

- Pumpkin bombs... Who doesn't love to throw these around?

- Trinity Limit... it's a skill, but it still kills people D: Nice flashy thing and... total pwnage. xD

Fuel-Air-Explosive bomb, Rocket launcher(mounted on a plane, not a shoulder), HVAR, 500lb bomb, 20mm cannon, er... Yeah. Sorta repetitive, isn't it?

BFG from doom I.....seriosuly....it was awesome

rail gun from quake, talk about a sniper rifle.

most guns from red faction I, that games just so cool

M-16 Family weapons with an 'Automatic' option for any game that supports them.

The SMG from half life two, admitadly a rather inferior weapon, but I still love pumping bullets ineffectually at enemies :roll:

Plasma grenade from Halo

Sticking it on your friend in co-op is the best ;)

and anything with a really fast firing rate... :P

The sword from Ico that you get around endgame.

Any of the magic anythings from Neverwinter Nights, the swords especially.

Keening, the knife from Morrowind. This is probably my favorite. How can you not like a weapon that obliterates its holder unless he/she wields the power of a diety?

The laser from Star Control 2 that the Mrrnhrmm use. Yes, they are a race of no vowels. It drives me nuts too.

ghost recon 2, GRAW, and real life: G36 and all variants
Halo 2: M90 Shotgun
call of duty 2-BR1: M1 Carbine and colt .45 duals
Americas Army: M203 :mrgreen:

I quite like the AK-47 in battlefield 2; mostly because it's so tacky :P . the ammo cartridges are stuck together with tape... Now that what I call style.

Oh, and because I personally it's one of the best weapons ever designed.

I saw some taped mag AKs last saturday for airsoft

I'm suprised nobody mentioned the Scarab Gun from Halo 2, or the 2x Golden PP7s!?
