Heres the link

I know the rumors have been flying around for a while, and I'm a bit skeptical myself. But would you agree that it wouldn't be beneath Sony to pull this off right now to get some more sales off? Seriously, I would buy a PS3 just for this game. But we'll have to wait for the Tokyo Game Show (Sept 20 - 23) just to be sure. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Final Fantasy VII, eh? Ho-hum... sorry, I've been there and done that numerous times.

I loved VII, but they'll still need to do something utterly mind-blowing with the (possible) remake to help me along the path to buying a PS3.

'Til then...

I'd rather have a Final Fantasy VIII remake, personally.

Brave Fencer Musashiden. No music, dialoge, etc being changed, just the visuals and perhaps a few new skills.

SE has a habbit of taking good ol' games, and remaking them into gak by totally changing the music with a newer, 'hip-er' soundtrack, adding new characters who have no point in the plot, etc.
