Should I buy an Xbox 360, or Save up for the 360 Elite?

Kinda wondering what's so great about the Leet, except for the name and color.. and hardrive or whatsit...

Think this is where it should be.

Depends, do you have an HDTV with HDMI? The elite can output an HD signal over HDMI. Also, do you think you need the bigger HDD? The HDD on the normal 360 is 20GB, whereas the one on the Elite is 120GB if I recall correctly.

If I were you, I'd shell out the extra 70-80 dollars for the Elite version. Plays HD DVD without an attachment, bigger hard drive, an less chances of it screwing up somehow (though I still have my first 360).

jdog: As for less chance of screwing up, not true. The normal Xbox will get all the hardware revisions that make it more stable, just not the HDMI, bigger HDD, etc. Also, I didn't know it had HD-DVD built in. Anyway black elite, if you don't know then you probably won't need that stuff. I'd go the cheap way and get the normal 360.

Due to the fact that Xbox is basically a computer meant for gamers, cant you just upgrade the HD?

Well anyway, whatever you do, do not get Oblivion for the 360...

No, because the 360 uses a proprietary HDD connector(IE not SATA or IDE).

The only real major diffrence is the memory. If your into downloading lots of music or like downloading movies then the elite is for you. On the other hand, if you dont download movies like my self then the premium is just fine. P.S dont buy the core that just a waste of money.
