Long has the question lingered: who would win in a fight between Samus Aran and the Master Chief?

Well, this brilliantly pulled off movie - clocking in at 10 minutes, no less - goes to some length to answer that question. Although the outcome may... suprise you; Nintendo fans and Bungie fans alike.

This ain't your ordinary flash, folks; it uses models ripped from Halo, Halo 2 and Super Smash Bros. Melee in a fully 3D fight that's so good it may give you some disease of some sort.

Watch it in awe.

Haloid

Mmh, I've seen this before, and I have to warn you; if you call yourself a fanboy of ANY sort, cut it off after "Master Chief's" chestplate comes off. Nothin' worth watching after that, if you were looking for a fight, that is.

But the animation... beautiful! This guy knew his stuff!

I kind of gave advance warning though - the fight's between SPARTAN 458 and Samus, not the Master Chief and Samus.

The Spartan in question was the one that made a cameo in Dead or Alive 4. Just a heads up before said Halo fan-boys show up, y'know. ;)

See if Halo was about "SPARTAN 458" rather than "Master Chief" i might actually learn to like it - but nope- still cant stand Halo. :P

The animation wasn't really all that great- there were a lot of big scenes that had very bad flow - but its a long video with many many different models moving around done by one person. So good for the time put into it.
(don't forget that I received my degree in 3D Animation, just because you don't see it doesnt mean it isnt there, any other animator who looks at it will see red flags when errors occur while most other people tend to just saw "awesome".)

And thus the term "Ignorance is bliss" was born. We can't notice red flags, all we see is awesome.

Sadly with that ignorance, we can't even try to do fancy stuff, or we can't help the creator.

I laugh that her nickname is "Master Chick"

The guy doesn't pretend to be a 3D artist, he says so himself (apparently).
It's awesomely done, considering.

That was nucking futs ._. and the beginning was slightly reminiscant of Devil May Cry. It is at this time that I must say "If only I could do that in game."

LOL (KEK)!

I would hope not. If you're looking for Holywood-style awesome-ness, look no further than that mad 60 second TV spot they made.

Bubble shield r00ls, FTW, rawks, etc...

But Haloid is awesome, too. ;)
