Here you can talk about both Guitar Hero one and two and what you're hoping for three, what skill level you're at, your favorite song, etc. So...

My favorite songs to play are Surrender, Freebird (guitar solo i *shiver*), Misirlou, Hangar 18, and Thunderhorse on expert on Guitar Hero 2 and Bark at the Moon on expert on Guitar Hero. Of course, every song save for that stupid Lamb of God song and the other one that has a screaming idiot are fun to play. Oh, and Mother. I hate that song so much. I really want Hotel California and another Dethklok song on Guitar Hero 3.

Amazed no one else posted....I'm totally addicted to Guitar Hero 1 and 2, I'm still only on hard mode but can play a few songs in the first game on expert. My favorites by far are The Breaking Wheel, Less Talk More Rokk, and Beast and the Harlot...I could play them all day (if I had the time)...except Breaking Wheel...it gives me a headache.

I passed Jordan on expert a few weeks ago! I was so excited I spent the next hour reminding my friend via AIM that I was awesome and he ended up drawing a picture about it.

:D It feels great when ya finally complete a song, the only ones I can do on expert are in guitar hero 1, still tryin to learn to strum up and down, just not good with staying constant. I can barely beat Jordan on hard, congrats on beating it on expert, must've been tough :shock: . A picture? Sounds neat, was cool of him to do something, least he knows how tough it can be to finally beat some of those songs :lol:

I'm a hoping for some ACDC, some Metallica, and um...another Dethklok song. (Underwater Friends!!!) 8)

As for my favorite songs...hmm, for guitar hero one I liked the Freezepop song...and um Bark at the moon, and something from Anarchy Club. Those are the only songs I LIKED, the others I just tolerated. Oh wait, yes, and Iron Man.

For numero two-o I liked Trogdor, Jhon the Fisherman, and Thunderhorse.
I am however only getting the hang of pressing that EVIL orange button and have just started HARD mode. However my brother just lent the game away so I is sad'ening.

John the Fisherman is alot of fun, so is Trogdor just because it's so absurd, was surprised they put something from Strongbad on there. As for the orange button, your not reaching back and forth from orange to blue with your pinky are you? I found it easier to slide everything up to the next button then reach back and forth from red to green...then again I'm probably just stating the obvious :? . Good luck with learning to play on hard, hopefully ya don't have to be sad too long.

My fingers either rest on green-blue or red-orange.

when I'm doing easy-medium I do green-blue, hard-expert I do red-orange. Except on beast and the harlot...I always have to switch from r-o to g-b when I get to the the main rif.

I'm just looking forward to getting my copy of GH back from my friend now that I finally own a PS2 (yes, I bought GH four months before I owned a system to play it on). Maybe then I can get better than a lackluster medium.

And I'm with Britt, Ready to Rokk is great.
