The PS3 release date was announced not to long ago, to be sent out at November 17th! and a yummy price tag of 600 dollars for the bundle. I promised my brother a while ago I would get him one when it came out...but damn...

I'm waiting at least a year for a new end console, they usually have a better game selection and the hardware is usually less buggy.

I'm waiting for the price to go down. I don't see how the system could be worth 600$. My focuses are on the Wii at the moment. It's intriguing I tell you! :P

nintendo is the only company that isnt going over a new level of stupidly crazy unlike the other greedy [censored]-like companies. i heard its going to be somewhere around 200$, but then, its only rumours.

Last I heard it was 250$, which is still 150$ less than the 360 and 350$ less than the PS3. :P

I'll probably get the Wii first if anything, the PS3 sounds good, but that all depends on what games come out for it. Plus I'm always behind when it comes to buying systems, I just got my PS2 in January. -_- And now the PS3 is coming out? Bah, I can wait. :o

Can't buy it. Nothing I want on it either. Also, if someone comes up with the "Final Fantasy is on the ps3" thing, word up dude, they lost their story director and music composer (both are key elements in the FF series) now that they lost them its just pretty graphics. :P

X-box360 is...managable but it will have to wait. Already afew games on it that I want.

Wii is what I'm buying with Smash Bros Brawl. XD Yay! (Although, again, not too much of a selection last time I looked. :( )

one of the main reasons it is so expensive is because of the blue ray. the cheapest blu ray is $1500. so its basically only expensive because of the hardware. i am going to be really angry when some random person goes well who cares blu ray sucks. what does your opinion have to do with the price tag anyway. its not even out yet how do you know its bad. you have no idea how many people tell me that the blu ray has nothing to do with the price.

I may buy one later on because there going to be way too much. Also game prices are too high at the moment. I will get one just for a few games unless they change system.

Blu Ray itself is probably neat, but how many people are really going to take advantage of it? Maybe I'm one of the few people who buys consoles for the games, not the extras.

What? Square is developing Final Fantasys on more than just PlayStation.

Right now PS3 is suffering, they did bad at E3, hardly showing anything, and the only exclusive they still have is Metal Gear Solid ((Which inconviently happens to be my favorite series)) For such a hefty price tag, they have to seriously deliever on the games for people to buy it.

The 360 had a slow start but now that the second wave of games is coming out, it'll do a ton better, Gears of War, BioForce, Dead Rising ect ect. The only bad thing is that they're not going to do a price drop this holiday season

And the Wii, dominated E3, it looks awesome, and with Super Smash Bros. online, as well as probably the other Nintendo exclusives. We can just hope for a remake of Goldeneye online =P. With a significantly lower price tag and some promising titles and that fun little controller, I'll definatly be getting this but the PS3 is still pretty iffy.

You must live in canada, cause the blue ray players are only around $1000 in the US.

*ON TOPIC*
I will more them likely not be buying a PS3 for reason of:
very few titles look worth buying+Price Tag way outta my range

I dont want a 360 cause my favorite xbox game(oddworld strangers wrath) isnt on the backwords playability list, that really made me angry :evil:

I will be buying a Wii, for the reasons of:
Lots of awesome looking titles
virtual console
Free Online Services
Online super smash bros

And why is there no Wii option in the poll?
