and from that comes piracy!
yea. im being blunt here, and admitting i use pirated software here and there[who hasnt though?], with plans to eventually buy real copies once i can.
so my dilemma here is that i want to play some half life two mods in the torrented version of half life i have, yet cant find a way to run them
so im basically begging for some help here, any kind of links and such to instruct me on how to use these mods without steam, that would rock.
and yes, i will honestly buy a real copy of half life[i have one as a matter of fact, but the key was used allready.]

In the best cases, multiplayer won't work.

Half-life 1 = 9.99 on steam. If you can't afford it, I'm sure someone would gift it for you. I for one happen to have $140 lying around because my 360 broke and I'm waiting for it to fix so I can go buy Eternal Sonata and wait for Silent Hill homecoming and the like. I might be...coerced into gifting. :3
I'd have to use my dad's credit card though >.>

While you're at it, I could use ten bucks for lunch tomorrow.

Garry's mod is cheap too, and you'll be able to get imitation mods in it. Like Zombie Survival mod. Doorman's one is best.

Well, Steam is free just so you know. And you can get CS:S cheaper there than you can anywhere else. CS:S has some good zombie mod aspects to it, but otherwise just buy Half-Life 2 and get the deathmatch that comes with.

Sorry man, the only links to free HL:2 games I'll be posting here are fake ones.
