If you haven't seen this series on YouTube, you need to. It's just too damned hilarious to pass up.

Part One
Part Two
Part Three
Part Four

Does this make sense only if you've played Half-life?

I don't really want to watch a 4-part mini series if it isn't going to make any sense, so...

Pretty much the guy is doing a playthrough of half-life, while speaking everything Gordon might be thinking.

Only things missing are the text that appears during the mornign tram-ride (Subject: Gordon Freeman, Education: Master Degree MIT, yadda yadda yadda. Nothing much else to do with plot and he'll reference it anyway) and I don't see any of the information you'd see on the HUD (health, ammo, etc).

Funny stuff. Makes me want to play the game again.

Also... Mechsae. Vulture? Looks like a Vulture Prime?

Yup, though I'm not exactly sure where the gif is from, it is a Vulture (or Mad Dog for you clanners :P )

And to remain somwhat on topic: I've been watching and rewatching it all day. Down right classic.

Laser! Caution. Laser! Caution. Laser! Caution. Laser! What could it mean?

XD I think part 3 might just be my favorite

Best part was when he reached the elevator in Ep 4.

"Do not use elevator."
Hits the button, elevator full of scientists slide by and slams into the bottom of the shaft.
"Oh [censored], they weren't kidding around! Jeez, I hope they were jerks. Otherwise I'd feel awful. Sorry!"

The only good thing about the I.S. is ComStar, be glad Focht knew what he was doing! [/nerd]

I have my own Gordon dialogue going on in my head, and it goes a little something like this "OH GOD DON'T FOLLOW ME... EVERYONE WHO DOES DIES!"
I always felt so bad for watching so many people get plastered in so many different ways.

I've seen people (okay, my brother and myself) get multiple security guards and scientists following us.

Gonna be hilarious when he starts having multiple people, especially when lines of dialogue repeat.

I watched it this morning and laughed more than a few times. The thing I loved most about the episode is the irony of how Gordon Freeman's mind acts when the guy in the games is always quiet and reserved.

Arby N the Chief and Master Chief Sucks and Halo is slightly better IMHO.
