And where can i find the downloadable content list? Or have they not released it yet?

Pretty sure it's unreleased, but I relly don't care about the DLC since its likelyhood for the Wii is so uncertain.

They should just call it "Rock Band: Unofficial Edition." That Harmonix suggested a Rock Band-esque game, got turned down by Activision, went to EA, made it a huge success, and Activision decided to make their own version seems pretty suspect.

Also, HOW IS THIS BLOODY GUITAR HERO? Guitar Hero is about Guitars, not about Drums and Singing.

*ahem*

I'm done ranting now. Suffice it to say, I'll stick to my copies of GH1 and 2.

So, lemme get this straight (HA! HAA!!! ...boobs...)

The game was called Guitar Hero
Rock Band challenged them by adding more playable instruments than the guitar
Guitar Hero lost sales to Rock Band as a result
So Guitar Hero adds the same playable instruments to their game, despite being still called "Guitar Hero"
They could have EASILY changed it to something like "Guitar Hero: The Rest of the Band" or something similar so it made sense, but instead elected to make the name "World Tour" which has NOTHING to do with ANY aspect of this game. There are NO foreign songs (some friggin J-rock would be nice), and it says NOTHING for the extra instruments.

From this, I can safely say that
GUITAR HERO FAILS

It's because GH is turning into a fan game. GH 1 and 2 were amazing because they had good music. Now there isn't any good music. They only put stuff on there that pleases people who don't know anything about guitar. Not to insult your music tastes, but after people pick up the real thing and become actual musicians they fade away from mediocre bands like Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold. They move on to better stuff like Sonata Arctica, Joe Satriani, and other general good bands.

HEY I love bands like ACDC, guns n roses, van halen, etc etc... im just saying, for a game like this, they should atleast challenge you with some hard songs.... (if im not mistaken, I think eruption is in there.... or atleast it should be.)

I still enjoy playing the game, despite the choice in music. So long as it isn't filled with Kool Thing's, Can't Be Saved's, and Heavy Metal Lady's, I'll be fine with it.

And if as long as the song creator doesn't suck, I can write imperfect transpositions of any of my favorite songs. Hell, as long as it doesn't suck, the song creator just may be my favorite feature of the game. At any rate, I can always hop online and play some songs written by people with better musical taste than the people who picked out the setlist.
