I was thinking of buying the game that you see in the title, but I want to know if it's worth it.
I've heard good things, for instance that it uses D&D rules and gameplay and characters, but I'd like to see some actual testimonies from players, if there are any. :)
Please, thanks.

I love this game.

Bioware is a great company and they always put out quality products and NWN is no exception... I played every single game straight through including the expansion packs.

I wasn't much into purchasing the new modules (which are most often made by people in the NWN community) so the game had limited replay value. overall though I loved it.

Yeah, bioware made Kights Of The Old Republic which is so long (or my attention span is so short) that I can play that over and over again.

Also Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect, and Jade Empire... all are GREAT games

If you're interested in the multiplayer version of NWN, steer clear of NWN2, the multiplayer support got fumbled. the first game has a good online community, though it has lessened in numbers a bit over the years.

Also NWN has some great mods out there so it has an insane high replayability.

Oh and the other Bioware games are cool too. Esp. KotoR and Mass Effect.

Neverwinter Nights was a great game, though, it was incredibly laggy online from what I can remember.

NWN was pretty awesome, but I definitely should not have chosen a paladin. >.<

Yeah... since this thread has been necroposted, I'll go ahead and offer my epilouge, so it can end.

A friend of mine let me borrow his copy of the game, and it is really fun. I'm a ranger. Aaaaannnnd... The End.
