Hello, I'm currently writing a story that is a mix of fantasy and sci-fi. I am really bad with names, so I wanted to ask people here to list some names they want characters to have. In my story, I've decided to use similar races to the ones in Tom's world (Humans, Keidrans and Basitins).
So come on people! Give me some nice names (especially surnames!)!

The characters I have in mind are (have some names in mind, but not very statisfied with some of them):
Human assassin (male) - main character of this story
Keidran (Feline) princess (female, duh!) - another main character
Bastin Prince (male, duh!) - third and last main character
Human technician/engineer (female)
Keidran mercenary leader (ex-fighter pilot)
2 Human mercenaries
2 Bastin mercenaries

3 Keidran Nobles
2 Human Admirals
2 Human captains

The easiest way to get a name for a character is-

think of a one-word adjective that describes their personality. It doesn't need to describe them perfectly, just accurately enough.

Go here

Where it says "Name Starting With," open the drop-down menu and select "Only This Meaning"

Place your adjective in the box next to the drop-down menu bar.

Click "Search."

Find a name- if you don't quite like it, mess it up a little bit (replace I's with Y's, O's with Ou's, switch the words around backwards, etc.)

Well, I kinda wanted the future readers to take part in the decision process in determining the names, hence why I asked. I'm sure I could have come up with names to all of them characters (some of them would be crappy but oh well) on my own.

So come on people, any specific names you want a character in this story to have?

I wonder how much I should write before posting the story? Thinking of posting the backgrounds for the story tonight, and perhaps the first part this weekend.

Yes, I did read your post. Some of the names, I really liked, others not so much. I'll see if I end up using some of them, maybe mixed around.

Nobles = people of nobility (people with 'blue blood') btw :p

I read the background and it's imaginative.

First part of the story is up, some of the names have been determined but there are still many more to go! This is your chance to get to decide something in the story, don't miss it! xD

Wow, this topic could have gone in the discussion thread. It's really cluttering to visit the Story Board and have to wade through three topics all pertaining to the same story.

Yeah, think I'm going to ask for this to be moved. Or at least locked so this topic will die from now on.
