Well, since the drawing board has a weekly sketch thread.... maybe we should have a weekly short story or poem thread....

Or, we could have a story where one person would write the first chapter, and another person would write the second, and so on... and have the chapters posted every Friday or something....... Yeah. :3 So each person writing the chapter would have a week to do so....

Okies, here's my idea which is a rip off of something on another forum (SCD):

Once a week, someone posts a list of words and people have to use them in a poem or short story (i guess). It's a fun thing if people are willing to post their work.

A short story one would be nice..

my only problem is that no one likes or reads my work, so I've just stoped due to the fact that it not nessacary to write anything feh, its not like its hard to find my work, http://the-fate-control.deviantart.com/ but then again you people wouldn't know good writeing, my only real problem is that its not edited. and for those how have to have it perficr, than go read a real damn book and don't complane when some one trys to actuly do something for other people.

I think a weekly short story thread would be best, but I'm not sure how a weekly story chapter thread would work. oO Anyone care to explain?

But, can I point out that, is it possible to have a weekly short story/poem thread? Some people are better versed in poetry than prose and vice versa, so doing this will let both take part.

Hm.. I wander around this part of the forum, along with a few other guys, but mostly I think this place is just too damn deserted to do a weekly short story. Anyway, my poems suck. Badly. You gonna post any stories here? I did, once, but it sorta died.

No offence, but I think you might have missed the fact that this particular sticky is at least, what, two years old? Happy birthday, topic! :D
