The Tatarus Chronicles
By Ross Wild
Book 1: The Beginning
The Palace’s design was exquisite, the walls were perfectly designed and the pillars that separated each segment had perfectly engraved flower designs etched into them to make the walls look extremely attractive.
Extorio’s cape swung to the side as he turned another corner. He hurried down this coridoor, his black armour clanking with each footstep. He didn’t take in any of the unique designs about the Palace, architecture wasn’t one of his things, killing was his speciality.
Eventually, Extorio arrived at the large throne room doors. These too had a flower type design on it, this one however, was coloured in bright yellows and oranges. Once again, Extorio didn’t pay any attention but placed both palms on the large doors and pushed.
Inside the Tyranur that sat on a large high backed throne stirred. This King was extremely old, even by Tyranur standards.
Extorio walked swiftly, crossing the hall in seconds. He stopped before the small set of stairs that led to the elevated platform where the throne sat. He knelt quickly, making a lot of noise from his armour ring out across the hall.
“Zenorichi? Is that you?” The old man (Writers note: I say man because I believe that it would be used as a general word, seeing as though the Tyranur have good relations with humans) said in barely a whisper.
“No, Your Majesty,” Extorio said, still bowing, “It is I, Commander Extorio of the 29th Legion.”
“Ahhh,” The King groaned, “What is it that you want, Commander Exdorio?”
“Extorio,” Extorio reminded him through gritted teeth, “Your Majesty, I am preparing for a trip to Earth. And as such, I am resigning as Commander of the 29th Legion.”
Yeah, I know it sucks right? I was thinking of tweaking it and doing an RP on it...what do you guys and girls think?
Critcism and advice welcome.
