If I can only pick one, I gotta say Jason Chan is my favourite artist. After I got his tutorial videos and watched them, using Photoshop got inexplicably easy. :D He's just got magic Photoshop-using hands.
He makes mind-blowing pictures.

Time for Copy-Pasta: I have no notably favorite artist or art website. I don't consider any of the big sites true "art" ones [even though that is what they show], while I don't pay too much attention to the visual art.

I will say I prefer realistic / gritty over cartoonish or deformed though.
