Bunch of votes but no comments? This is unheard of...

Looks nice, although his position is strange. It looks as if the book was hanging there with pure willpower, because his left arm appears to be pointing straight forward. I don't dare to say anything else, as I'm no expert myself.

Otherwise a nice picture :)

Some of the perspectives need to be adjusted, and you might even want to use a straight edge for the lines around the podium, book shelf, etc. I do like the coloring of the main character, though I'm a bit at odds with how he's holding his book. I usually see that in women when they're passively covering their chests. But then again, his hands are full, so maybe you were trying to make him look like he's doing his best to hold onto his things?

The book looks kind of heavy... I think the hand that's holding the paper should be supporting the book so it won't just fall off.

It's nice that you're drawing backgrounds... I just try to avoid trying to add perspectives to pictures so I wouldn't have to worry about it (>.>) so it's great to see that you're doing it. I think you could try the trick where you put a dot somewhere in the picture (the "center") and draw the lines so that they all cross into to that center dot, then go from there.

what I like the best is the hair, but, as everyone says, the book looks like its's floating above his arm, and it seems too heavy to stick on his skin and stay there just sticked with sweat, you know, when a sheet of paper sticks to your forehead when you fall asleep at school...
