Very nice, reminiscent of Half Life 2 in a way...

umm... isnt that just a couple of planes with photographs textured onto them? I mean the background image blends well but just layering a photograph onto a plane will disrupt the 3d feel. Also, when comparing the two textures (background and right building) you can see the background seems to be set during sunset or a hazy time of the day; while the building on the left seems to be exposed to direct sunlight. This creates a harsh cut for the building on the left and it draws the viewer's attention to said crease.

Also the texture on the left building seems to be taken straight on (perpendicular to the building) and then due to the skew created by camera angle, it makes the trees become distorted and seem flat against the plane. This effect will easily give away the illusion of using a single image layered on a flat plane.

Working with textures can be a pain and using Cinema 4D is no simple task. Perhaps if you modified the texture of the left building a bit by removing the plants and harsh shadows that indicate strong sunlight, and then work with colors and desaturate to match the background. And then add the trees later on separate objects, then it might seem smoother. The work with the ground seems well played, although the crease between the left building and ground kinda disrupts the fluidity.

Good luck though, you seem to be on a good start. Modeling packages can be a little scary to dive into sometimes but don't be afraid to experiment and test things out.

Maybe it's because I'm stupid but I can't hear a thing.

See, I myself find FL to be all I need. I make good music, interesting music, the stuff I want to make and I'm comfortable using the program. it fits my style of composing very well, which is get the basic idea and arrangment down [censored] fast as possible and then tweak and minipulate it from there on untill I have finsihed track.

I think for ease of use FL is better then Albeton, for me at least. But, if you are interested in doing more Live based stuff it's a bit of kit you really do need to invest in. The best thing I find Albeton Live to be used in my experience is the final mix down, it's built in mastering and EQ VSTs are really good and many people swear by it.

The thing is, it's a very different beast to FL. If you are going to switch, I advise you make sure you have the time to study the program before using it otherwise you'll be more likely trying to figure out how to do something then making a track, which in the end of the day is what you use a DAW for.
