So, last term in art our subject was portraiture. One of our projects was a self-portrait. And damn, are they hard. Here's what I came up with in the end -
Self portrait.
Just ignore the black smudge on my neck, that's just a minor paint spill.

Our current theme is fantasy art. I haven't quite finished this picture yet, but here's what I have so far.
Airin, the last winged unicorn.
Five points for whoever gets the reference.

The self portrait is good. Just that the nose sort of looks funny. Besides that they are good drawings. Nice shading

omg, why didn't you use anime style drawing?!?!?!?!

that would look totally cool!!! but it looks good like that anyway.

Hopefully you were asking why he didn't use anime style for the second drawing....cause if not...you need to be shot with your own morphine rifle.

Yeah Fireheart, noses are always the hardest to do. As for anime, I didn't do it for one simple reason - I suck at anime.

Thanks for the positive feedback, I'll post some more later.
