 Post subject: Editing images on Photoshop

Hey, I've been wondering on how to get the lines on my drawings solid enough to color it in. What should I do? Any tips, tricks, techniques would be aprieciated. Links would be nice too.

it depends on which PS version u are using. i think if u have 6.0 or higher, go to image -> adjustments -> brightness/contrast. u can play around with the settings. also, try experimenting on the other stuff like filters or hue/sat. also, if u are planning on color it do this.

1) make a new layer (ctrl + shift + n)
2) put the new layer underneath the sketch
3) change the blending option of the scanned sketch to multiply.

I am using Photoshop CS. I'll give the site a go and I guess I could try some of your options. please give me more tips people, thanks for helping.

Ink your images- or do the linework digitally- that is the only sure way to do it. Theres no way you can draw something in pencil and darken it to the point it will be easier to color without spending an hour on erasing spots and cleaning up the whole thing over and over again.

Alright, I think I'll stick to my normal tactic of pencil art and drawing. I guess I have my problem solved then. :)
