Damnit, can everyone color except for me? Why I ask you? Why?

I don't have much to say, but I warn you though, I will kill Leon for his doublet. I will find away into that picture and murder him. I need it that badly

i apologize for the double post (as well as reviving yet again an ancient thread) i haven't really had a chance to do any digital work or any thing other than a sketch in the longest time so i figure i'll just start posting some of my sketches.

heres one i did of a character from one of my novels (it's Sci-Fi)

Holy Carp. You art has improved QUITE alot. *just read through*
I've still got a ways to go before it's drawing-board worthy.

Nice. I like his shoes and holy cow that's a complicated signature you have there :P

The whole body look a little too tall though.

And his feet, but that looks like it just may be the result of the steel cap.

That's a super cool pose, the way half of his face is shaded really adds to it. I think the glowing hand that's closer to the viewer should be bigger to add dimension.

@spiffman: thanks very much, and feel free to steal it.

@cupil: i agree, i always seem to have issues with forshortening and such though, just one of those things i need to keep practicing i guess.

Edit:
new image, this was part of a graphic novel project i was doign for art scholarship, but i am considering revising my plan and liekly this picture will become unimportant. it looks pretty though, the characters name is aramil and he's an elfen warrior.

I can't see much along the line of anatomy that would really need to be altered, but the shading should be refined a whit more. Right now the left side of him looks blotchy and a bit equal-toned. But the armor looks quite nice. I'd expect the chest plating to be a bit wider, but it's a nice suit of steel.
