Nya! Sort of an imprinted noise from his mother.

Wow, you've posted three new drawings since I last checked here. Guess I've been spending too much time on that "other forum" ^^'
Pretty cool character design for Keith and Natani's son. I like the mottled coat; it really emphasizes his mixed heritage. I've always found hybrid critters fascinating...since the gene combinations vary with each cross, you sometimes end up with offspring that, though essentially the same species, look vastly different from each other (prime examples? Your characters Kanti and Kratos :D ).
The interaction between Zao and his aging mother in your last two comics is both heartwarming and tragic. Poor Flora's really starting to show her age -she'd be what, about 17 or 18 by then?- and it's sad to see her without her usual spunk :( The characters' expressions are fantastic as usual, though...I especially like Zao's eager face in the second-to-last panel in Comic #2.
Thank you :) Kratos was really fun to make, but I know that mottled coat's gonna bite me in the bum when I least expect it.
Flora should be around 16 at this point, kind of around the same point Laura is in the current arc. Not ancient, but not all that young anymore either. I wonder how she must feel having a kid, that well. . . Is still a kid.

Here's page 3. My bad on the first panel, there was supposed to be depression lines, but I noticed too late.
Frogs probably can't/don't live in a valley. But from what I gathered on India's Valley of Flowers, snow leopards and bharals can. (I was almost got close to just making something up!) I hope that last panel is coherent enough. Oh, even though he isn't going to be in the next page are there any tips on how I could get Kratos to look more distinguishable in black and white?
