It is really too often I find myself doing something creative, when I should be sticking my nose to a studybook. Oh well...

One day I decided to crypt some text - yeah, just like that - and I became curious. How many people can (bother to) actually ever decipher it? So here I am, with something like a contest.

This is not a forum game, but a small-time contest, which are two different things.

Here I have a message for whoever can read it. Prove me you can, and ye shall be awarded with...
...
....
.....A free colored drawing from me!
Not much of an award, but it's something. Applies only to the first three who manage to do it.

Time to put your brains to good use!

Notes:
The small "=" is just to clarify that the specific letter is upside down!
Hints might be added, although I hope no-one can read it anyway.
Another purpose of this is just to measure how many of you will even bother to try :P
AND I'm not a federal agent assigned to decipher a message of suspicious origins, before someone asks.

I have some few questions about the piece of paper. why is the piece of paper bent in half and what are the circles around the letters suppose to represent?
Edit: oh and a quick off topic question do you play FFXI? just wondering because I know someone by the name of demus.

if this is in ROT13, I will find you.

-EDIT-

the letters in circles are right-side up, and possibly a reference point.

-Edit2-
I'll get all the letters in the right positions, then check for replacement.

Since it looks like paragraphs, it's focus on just the first line, eh? The letters of the same row are all pointing in the same directions. Starting from the first row, those letters point north (right direction), then east, then south (vertically opposite direction). I'm betting that the direction of the letters are related to directions to be read.

If it's in plain English, then the 5 most common symbols can be counted as vowels.
