So....

Has anyone heard (and, hopefully, enjoyed) the Jethro Tull album Songs From the Wood? It's all very transcentental, with a lot of songs about nature.

Also, same question with the Genesis album Foxtrot, though it's not really transcendental. It's just progressive rock. (At least, that's how I've heard it described.)

These are both 1970s era works, so their kinda old. (To me anyway.)

Never heard from them. But from the video you posted on 'What made you smile today?' topic, the music is really nice ^^ I should go and look for more of them. Be right back XD

I'm happy that someone does know Jethro Tull, though I don't know much about the band, I've just heard some songs but, whenever I ask someone I know if they have heard their music they just say "and who in the world is he?"
What I like a lot about their music is the way Idontknowwho (sorry) plays the flute and the sing does have a lot of talent. also that the've used lots of generes with the pass of the years.
Songs From the Wood is one of my personal favorites.
sorry for not knowing some stuff about the ban, I'm a bigger fan of The Beatles.

Ian Anderon = Singer / Flutist

I know what you mean. I'm one of the TWO people at my school who knows Tull. It's really depressing, they don't know what they're missing...

I know what you mean about Songs from the Wood, and I agree. But, to be honest, I prefer Stand Up. We Used to Know is by far my favorite song by them, to the point where that song alone wins over the 7 or 8 songs I like from their other albums.

As for Genesis, sad to say, I'm not familiar with that album. The only album I've listened to is Invisible Touch. I'm just a huge fan of Phil Collins. =^.^=

Amen! And it's skating away on the thin ice of the new day, I think.
