HOLY! That's his name. I never knew. He plays in a few movies that I like, can't remember which ones though, which is sad. My mom likes him too. Boy will she be sad when I tell her. May George rest in piece.

I didn't know this guy before, but I like his humour. Sad he's gone.

I liked George Carlin. He knows how to speak the truth.

I've only ever seen him a few times but what I saw was good.

Rest in peace

Oh holy freaking no! I wasn't ready. Today should be declared a national day of mourning. Right now.

The stuff he told us wasn't always right on the mark, but damnit he was funny and didn't care about others when talking, that's my type of guy

Can't say he was my favorite comedian. That's not to say he wasn't a skilled audience-pleaser, but he just didn't really rub me the right way. I like to think there's a line between going on stage to make an audience laugh, and trying to get an audience riled up for someone's own set of ideals, politicking or otherwise. I prefer being in the audience that laughs at a funny situation rather than pump fists and hollar when someone says "'X' Sucks!!"

Sad that he died, but I say that because it's sad when anybody dies.

My mom woke up to the words Geroge Carlin Dead at...., and immediatly woke me up to tell me. I recommend his book Brain Droppings to everyone.

It was awesome.
