I recently recalledthis particular piece, and realized that it's like porn... for Basitins. I mean look at how they don't even try to cover their feet. Hawt to the max!

I didn't realize Tom was willing to draw something that racy.

Yeah. I'm just kidding, but cut me some slack; I should be asleep right now, but obviously I'm not.

Yeah, but they're Eastern Basitin, aren't they? They're hardly more than Keidran animals. Sure, the images are terribly inappropriate, and we should do everything we can to protect our young cadets from viewing such dangerously arousing material, but it's practically a cover from National Geographic. :P

I'd guess that at first, but one of the three, at least, knows Keith personally, and from what little We've seen of her, she seems quite... uh... Western. And clothed. Or maybe the whole downfall of the Eastern Basitin happened during Keith's lifetime.

Also, don't know if you've already seen this or not;

I'm fairly certain I'm reading far too much into this.

:shock: That's one of the more terrifying things I've read.

(Also, I must admit with embarrassment that I keep getting East and West mixed up when discussing Basitins. :oops: )

However, that content falls way before the constantly moving "ignore anything about the Basitin written before this" date. ;) By Tom's comments from this December, both Eastern and Western Basitin seem to share some notable traits -- certainly that they are constantly at war with one another at least. Now there's the whole "Western Basitins haven't appeared in the comic" note, which either means we're miscatorizing Vehra, or Tom forgot her solitary, short appearance (or hopes we would). *shrug*

Back to the topic at hand, I wonder exactly how racy this image is. I mean, obviously there's some nudity there, but is it just like sort of bad nudity, like female toplessness in, say, America, et al.? Or is it really bad nudity? ;)

Yeah, I figured it'd be ignorable (especially considering the only way to find it is if you know the exact address). I still vote for Vehra being Eastern (or whichever Keith is; I can never remember).

And I figure it'd be like toplessness (i.e. 14A), but I'm not so intimately familiar with Basitin law to say that with any certainty.

That earns you one +1 Masterwork lulz-staff. Use it wisely, for it contains 20 charges of Remove Foot-wrappings.

On second thought, I'd better keep that away from you. You can have a jelly bean instead.

Well thats an interesting item. Back on topic, I seriously forgot about Vehra. Though I think I like the idea of the group going to the western side of the island and recruiting a Basitan from there. Certainly would bring in interesting predicaments.(I know I spelled that wrong, I just know it) Oh well, that's just an idea that came to my head.
