Well at lunch there was a food fight (6 kids threw HUGE slices of chocolate cake, and I got cake in my hair and i have long, blonde hair and was wearing white so it showed and it was embarrissing ) and for the rest of the year we can`t talk during lunch we must sit in "ABC order" and our teachers have to sit next to us at lunch. Thats the bad part but it get`s worse, theres plans to have another food fight on friday and on thursday (since it`s "silent lunch") They are going to bring in a whoopie cushon, I don`t know what to do.Should i be in it and throw food or should I just stay and watch?

That's a tough question to answer, sweetie. What is your inner voice saying, or is it a discordant chorus?

Biggest question being, what will be the consequences? I'm sure the ring leaders are facing suspension at least.

Best solution: how much fun is a food fight to you? What's the worst consequence you will have to face? Would the "fun" of a food fight be worth it?

Otherwise, I'd vote for staying home that day, and maybe an anonymous tip left for the teachers. Yechy food fights. :?

I will find those kids.
No one wastes huge slices of cake on my watch.
Tell them to start running.

On a less death threaty note, I suppose it is simply a matter of choice. Directly before the food fight, claim illness and try to get sent home. At the very least it will keep you out till lunch is over.

Otherwise, have a blast and plant a big slice of pizza in that teacher's face who failed you, put a pie in the principles nice suit, or take a cake to that kid who keeps beating you up and taking your lunch money.

Options options.

Sit it out and let the other kids take the rap while you enjoy the festivities.

Yea, I personally like the idea of perhaps going to the bathroom for a few minutes right at the beginning, then get your camera out on the way back, and start filming it(if it does happen). If it doesn't, just pretend you were checking your camera, calmly put it back in your pack, and eat lunch like normal.

If you *do* get some video, post it for us!

I don't know what your situation is exactly but i'll make a few if's.

-If you're wondering wether to join in because you actually enjoy it, I'd just stay out of it and watch.

Why? Well, when schools start implementing rules like those it means that they won't have much tolerance for further incidents. Sit this one out and perhaps join in when things have cooled down a lot.
Just because you like something doesn't mean you have to participate in it each time. Just because you like baseball, it doesn't mean that you can't sit ona bench and watch a match.
The fun of this one probably won't weigh up to the consequences.

-If you're wondering wether to join because you feel group pressure or because you want to be part of the group, don't join in.
Not everyone will participate in it. Just go stand among the crowd that doesn't join in.

Since seatings will be fixed, you'll have a good grasp wether you'll be close to a lot instigators or not. If you are close to several, try and wear some clothing that won't show food spots that much. Or take a spare shirt.

-If you're just doubting and don't really have a reason to actually want to join in on the foodfights, I'd say sit this one out. The school takes this situation seriously, even if your fellow students don't.

.......Run away from the immature food fighters. Anon. tips are your friend. Just make sure the door is closed when you talk to the principal, so noone overhears you (Believe me, this is a real problem. It's happened at my school, and the staff always says close the doors). The potential fun is not worth the bs you'll have to put up with as a consequence, especially this late in the year. When the food starts flyin' just get under a table and hide, reputation be damned.

Kick over a few tables and construct a fort with everyone who's not fighting. Occasionally try and execute random food-fighters attacking your castle.

Ok im not shure about videos but i can do photos and there are no backpacks allowed at school on the last week. Thats how dumb it is, on the brighter side I know from the "ringleader" of the next food fight that he`s going to throw some chillie, spagetthi and what ever he can bring in and his "followers" are throwing the school lunch, which scares me ecuase some of the food is undercooked and frozen and the hamburgers are not hamburgers but tofuburgers :( The main reason their doing this is becuase after the 8th grade award cerimony there is normally cake (of all things) and punch and normally we get to stand around in the gym and talk for an hour but they canceled it becuase of before.  IT P***ES ME OFF THAT THEIR STICKING THE ENTIRE 8TH GRADE WITH THE 6 JERKS WHO STARTED THE 1ST ONE!!! They got suspended for the rest of the year and we have to pay for there crimes.

So don't participate in it, then. Very much think you'd regret getting suspended for something as petty as throwing food at people.
