I'll be headed to the doctors in a couple hours, so I can swallow a giant pill camera. It kinda has me freaked out, I wonder if I'll gag on it or something. I spent the entire day in the bathroom because I drank half a gallon of super laxatives. It tasted like some kind of horrible liquid metal or something, and out it came O_O I was in the bathroom for over an hour and a half.

Anyways I'm lucky this is what I'm doing, otherwise they would be making me redo my camera up the rump endoscopy. That test was tons worse. The thing I'm afraid of is like...well you never knew when that laxative stuff would force you to the bathroom (and there is NO time for stalling), I'm afraid it will happen in the car O.O It shouldn't, I mean I haven't gone in like 8 - 9 hours. I kinda feel like I have too though. I hate these tests >_< Time never passes so slowly then when you are aware of it.

Well wish me luck. They will strap a sensor on my stomach attached to a big ole belt, then have me swallow a camera which will travel through my system for about 8 estimated hours. This will be quite the adventure eh?

Go FuzzlePup ! You can do it, own this camera big time! I wouldn't stress so much if I were you, but it's true that with the big description you gave us, you should be a little... :shock:

An anal endoscopy would be uncomfortable and nervousness-inducing for me, but not altogether horrific. For me, the idea of an oral endoscopy is absolutely horrific. Sticking a tube with a camera down my throat into my stomach is a big no-no. I'd practically rather just die of whatever's ailing me than that. I have too high a gag reflex. Heck, I gag horribly when they do that throat culture for strep...

Good luck though; I know how much it can suck trying to swallow huge pills. x.x

The day before, when you have to clean out your bowels is always the worst part. ALWAYS!!! Trust me. I know...

I'm going to have to ask if their was a pre-existing medical condition that prompted this rather invasive procedure.

Well, that is pretty interesting...good thing I wasn't eating something otherwise I would have to take a picture of the aftermath and share it with you guys...
Anyways if I ever have to have a test like that I am going to hang myself in a closet somewhere...

You'll have to (if we're talking up-the-bum endoscopy.) It's given every few years to people in their 50s and older to check for colon cancer. Trust me, it's not that bad. Everyone, male and female, has to go through it, you're put in a twilight sleep, and the worst part is clearing out your system the day before.

Now that the initial shock is gone, I can say you should have gotten the butt-cam examination but after the horrible anal waterfall (yeah, I said it) you shoulda stuck a glass eye up there.

They turn on the camera and OMGITSANEYEAGH!!
