Tonight begins the reign of Daylight Savings Time in (most of) the US (Canada also?)! 2AM will become 3AM! Chaos will rule!

Those of you in Europe will be following suit in about two weeks, yes?

So, what do you think about DST? Is it just a hassle? Does it still serve a useful purpose? Is it just a twisted conspiracy to continue to keep you waking up to a cold and dark morning?

Originally started to to give farmers an extra hour of sunlight in the fields- thanks to modern technology they dont need it- and if they want it- they can wake up earlier or later! Its out dated and doing nothing but making me groggy and cutting an hour out of my time to work on the next comic!

Losing. Nothing starts a week like losing an hour of precious sleep.

You know, I only average about 5 hours a night (save weekends), this really won't help me too much. Heck, I don't even know why we still do Daylight Savings Time. I want to go back and time and punch Benjamin Franklin in the kidneys. Repeatedly. For about an hour.

I'm pretty sure Arizona doesn't do it. I remember talking to a buddy who just started going to college in AZ, and he said he didn't have to set his clocks forward. So it looks like my previous opinion of AZ was wrong, and there is at least one reason to live there apparently.

I blame Alan Greenspan for all this. He knew that it was going to happen, so what does he do? Passes his ball of fail to his lackey Ben Bernanke only for the market to go crashing down. And this is why I am against Day Light Savings.

Meh. I don't mind much. Sure, I forget half of the time to put my alarm clock forward, but I usually notice that about when I go to bed at night. "Wait... Wasn't it 2:30 a minute ago..? OH!" That kinda thing. Besides, I'd rather have an extra hour in the evening. Because then I get to enjoy it.

My buddy picked it up last night at midnight, but I haven't had a chance to play it yet. I was at a funeral all weekend, and I have 4 major tests and 2 major projects due this week -- so no play time for me. Still, come Spring Break...

It seemed totally weird. It was still broad daylight at 6:30 like as if it were only 4. o_o; Felt surreal.
