Aside from being shamelessly stolen from another forum, it's pretty self explanatory. Just list one thing that made you smile today. Whether you got a new job, bowled a perfect game, or just got to sleep in, list it here. I'll go first.

I heard this song for the first time:

Realizing I was having an epiphany, then telling the epiphany to sod off.

Waking up and then getting a call five minutes later from my mom (who reads a large amount of fiction, mainly mystery novels). She told me she had read through the first chapter of my story and, while she's not really a science fiction fan, she couldn't put it down until she'd finished it. She gave me multiple suggestions and ways to improve it, but she said it really made her proud.

This is especially great considering she didn't like and didn't read the last long story I wrote (5 years ago). It just made the whole day seem brighter. :D

The story is here, if you want to read it too. You could make tomorrow a great day for me, if you'd like. :)

I heard Jack Thompson approved of an M-Rated game.

Similarly, that Anonymous is 'winning' against Scientology.

The thing that made me smile today was almost getting crushed by two guys almost twice my size and almost getting crushed by/tackling a friend of mine who is also about twice my size. For some reason, the Japanese gatherings always seem to be so much fun.

For anyone wondering what was going on, we played fruits basket which is like a never ending musical chairs. Imagine a bunch of 18-23 year olds playing this. It's almost as good as a room full of 20 year olds playing with Slinkys in physics class, which happened last week.

I for one would rather have a bunch of people being jerks to one another than a cult made by a bad scifi writer who likes little boys

Spending time with my brothers. I miss them because we are in different states. But getting to see them is what makes me happy like today. :D
