Today, when I awoke from my sleep at 2:30 in the morning, there was snow covering the ground. I was excited, I was happy at the thought of having school of for a day to practice drawing, to play my games, to enjoy life in general. But, as time went on, the snow began to melt. It struggled, resisting the will of nature for it to revert back to it's liquid form, and almost made it. As time moved on, it had grown so weak that there was little left on natures floor. As I checked the news for signs of schools caneling, I was dispointed to find it still running on schedule.

Robbed, I was, of my day of freedom! My blood boiled, my eyes narrowed, and time was short. Those who had wronged me, those who would destroy my hopes of relaxation would be crushed under my might. I would stalk the night, I would hunt them through the streets, I would find them, and they, their children, and their childrens children, would have their blood spilled for denying me what was rightfully mine...

As the sky darkens, my hunt begins.

(So yeah, that's my rant about how the snow melted before I could get out of school for the day..>_>;;; I have issues, I know. Hope I wasn't too over dramatic with it. I also hoped that I used stalk right, it sounded like a cool word so I used it. :P)

Well, if it makes you feel any better, my university canceled classes today because of snow. It started falling around 7:00 last night, and we all stayed out until past midnight erecting snow sculptures. Massive snow battles (200+ people), pelting passing cars, and giant snowballs in the middle of the road. The cops were only called once, so it was a good night.

Actually, it never snows up here, so it was odd that we got around 3 inches. The last time I saw snow was around 8 years ago, so we all had a real good time. Did I mention that all classes were canceled today? I did? Ok.

Really? That's great. We usually get at least a few snow days a year, so i'll have other chances. Glad to see you enjoyed such a rare occasion.

Though I have to say, I've sadly never been in a snowball fight. XD

ahaha poor you last year last year we just over 2 weeks of snow days!! it takes a at least 3 feet of snow and negative 35 for my school to close

My school never cancels classes for snow :( The only reason I can get a class off those days, it's because the teacher couldn't make it, or fake to be sick. The joys of living in Quebec :lol:

That sucks. My school gets snowdays about 2-3 times a year.

It started snowing at 8 AM today and they still didn't let us out early, and we still won't probably get off tomorrow DX

If it snowed here, people would begin praying and/or running around shouting "THE END IS NEAR!!"

Where I live I've noticed that its been snowing more frequently, however, When I look outside there is usually only an inch or two of snow. By the end of the afternoon its mostly all melted, so disappointing. I feel your pain Unknown.

Count the blessings of the snow days you do get...

my university will pretty much only cancel classes if it is like apocalypse levels of snow. if a snowbank is bigger than you're car they'll call us whiners and THINK about canceling school.

I get 1 a year if I am lucky though not counting last year I haven't had a snow day in 7 years? something like that

Its been seven years since I have seen snow.

My university is pretty much the same way, I think. Thankfully, if the snowbanks are getting to be car-sized, the county will probably call it a level 3 snow emergency = forced cancellation. The county my university is in calls level 2s when the roads aren't actually that bad, but I still have to make the drive down there so I don't fail. I did skip some classes last year because I was scared to drive in the snow and ice. :cry:

Ah, how I hate winter quarter. The time of two coats, hats, gloves, and falling. xD
