Name your worst jobs it can even be your chores if you think their bad enough.

My worst job was when i was working at Hy-vee. Its a supermarket. But we also have a kitchen and serve breakfast lunch and dinner. They put me in the kitchen. My manager. Bob. Is a balding racist loudmouth demon from the pits of hell. Now in addition to listening to bob yell at everyone within 5 feet of him AND dealing with uppity customers who think Im below them becuase I happen to be working for minimum wage. Bob makes 2 of us stay to wash dishes. Not the dishes from the usual going ons of the store but dishes from his second damn job. Plus that bloody [censored] has repetedly grabbed my arm and yelled. My response was to punch him in the face. I no longer work for Hy-vee. :D

Insert farm animal in pen. Allow farm animal to deficate in pen for x amount of time. Require someone (me /cry) to enter pen AND CLEAN IT.
Hogs,
chickens
hunting dogs
you-name-it hoof stock. /whimper

that, and closing at a fast food restaurant.
Front line, usually had to deal with customer trashed bathrooms (my gracious, can people be downright mean and filthy)

if it was back drivethrough, I usually wound up washing both breakfast things, and every piece of removable equipment my manager could find to stick in my soapy water. some of that stuff would have a weeks worth of grime-- becasue they would wiat for me to wash it.

I finally asked them if i was the only person capable in that entire store of getting a dish clean.

I worked at a movie theater for 2 1/2 years, and I was a "floor staff" for most of that time (moved up to projection later).

Fist off, we would routinely work 8 hour shift, getting 1 break from 10-15 minutes. The rest of the time was constantly busy. The managers were actually pretty cool, but it's the customers that really drove me up the wall. Here are a few stories...

I was working concessions when a girl, looking about 15, came up with her friend. She just stood there for a few seconds before mumbling, "Cinnamon...pretzel...". And before I had a chance to respond, the other girl blurted out, "HI DO YOU SELL POPCORN HERE!". Yes, just like that. She talked in all caps. Needless to say, I was leaning on a 55 gallon drum filled with the stuff, and there were 2 more bins right next to me. I just looked here in the eye and said, "Sorry, we don't sell that any more. This is all for display purposes only". And she believed me.

Of course, there was the time some guy tore up our bathroom looking for drugs, the time a girl flushed her cell phone down the toilet, the time a woman complained that she could see a boon mike in one of the trailers (and demanded we fix it...), and all other kinds of fun stuff.

My friend, who worked there for about 2 years, said it made him lose all hope in humanity. But I guess that works with any job in which you have to deal with customers.

I worked in the same fast food restaurant for three years....yes, I'd believe you. I've had people PAINT THE WALLS with *ahem* organic solid waste, then pull the toilet paper dispenser off the walls, along with the tiles it was connected too, and drop said tiles into the toilet with the solid waste not used for wall decorations.

Yep, I'd believe you.

My worst job was ditch-digging. I kid you not - I was actually paid to dig a ditch once - but not through friendly, crumbly dirt, no! It was that wonderful rock-hard red clay with the happy granite rocks in it, that you find throughout the American South. I broke three shovels and a pickax before all was said and done. It took three days to dig it - four feet deep, three feet wide and something like 30 feet long. Every day, I ended up covered in orange slime and blisters.

All for $50 pay.
XD

Working McDonald's got me through high school (gas for band n whatnot) and Discovery Zone got me through my bachelor's.

So, I understand the feelings about small kids and spoiled parents.

Been there, and yes, we deserve a medal. Several, and people to worship our patience for not killing the lot.

Ohhh yesss... since my mom works as a kindergarten teacher I get to help out from time to time. Gee.. I really dunno how she can keep up doing that job day after day... The fact that my current girlfriend is just studying to become a kindergarten teacher too doesn't really help here either -_-

Though worst job I ever did was shift working in a factory. Being near an 5500 F (~3000 C) hot oven from nine pm till six am for seven days straight, then 2 days break and the whole thing starts over again for a couple of months isn't really that... refreshing. x_x

Horse Ferrier... Trying to pull off a shoe nailed to a 1200 pound animal who would rather be [censored] the mare in the next stall...

I quit after a few months. It was just not worth the risk of getting stepped on or kicked...

I'd say anything that relates to people in any way. Sure, there might be a lot of regular people who know manners. Then some crazy people show up and ruin what you think of humanity and hope they all get the beatings they so richly deserve.

I used to be a grocery story clerk and I can say with all honesty

the general population.... is retarded

they want the dumbest stuff all the time making unreasonable demands of low paid workers because they are the customer therefore are obviously superior to you.

there was one lady, she would yell at people bagging her groceries because having some items placed next to other food items ruined the happiness of said food items and therefore ruined the taste/quality and would DEMAND they retrieve another one of similar color/dimension (in the case of produce) and then would complain when they brought something back that it wasn't similar enough. EDIT*** sorry seems about outlandish when I read it to myself but let me give you some perspective, she was an 80 something year old woman who lives alone but owns a poodle she treats like a person... when our baggers saw her they would vanish until 2 hours later when they were sure she was gone. she'd only let females help her out to her car and then she would tell them stories about what her dog did the other day....

sometimes I would wonder if people were just trying to torment us or if they were just insane... never did figure it out.
