Around this time of year I cant stop drinking gallon after gallon of eggnog. I use to hate the stuff when I was little but now I cant get enough of it. Puts me in the holiday and makes me more and more cant wait for Christmas. Anyone else have an eggnog crazy during the holidays?

I don't think I've tasted eggnog. I usualy sing (horribly I might add) to get myself into the holiday spirit.

I probably drink maybe three cups total in Winter since it's the only time the stuff is sold. A bit too sweet for me.

Hear hear!

Me too. Only the non-alchoholic dairy product, haven't tried 'the real thing'

Hot apple cider, wassail, and hot chocolate (cocoa), but can't say i've ever gone eggnog nuts.

Now, you want something yummy, use real milk to make the "instant" hot chocolates. My hubby does it somehow that makes it irresistable.

Does anyone like singing Christmas Carols? I know it's a bit off topic, but work with me. I'm way too curious for my own good.

I enjoy singing, period. My favorites to sing are "We three Kings," and "What child is this". Growing up where I did, there was no chance to "walk the neighborhood" singing door to door. The next door was over a mile away.

It would be something ot try this year, though.

your lucky that you can. I went caroling once but that was years ago. I just dont trust my neiborhood enough to go out even with friends after dark. I live next to a half-way house and down the street there is a rundown appartment building. Also I cant do it during the day because of school and my job.

Oh ya and I ruined my voice when singing in a rock band (the shouting kind not like Greeday or any of the well known "rock"bands)

I use to singing for senior citizens during the holidays with my choir but that was a few years ago. Never went choraling from door to door though. I wanted too but never got around to doing it. I love to sing though been a counter tenor for a few years but I never get to practice much now.

I get about a gallon of non-alco-nog per year, plus a couple bottles of Martinelli's sparkling cider. I'm in my school's men's choir section this year, singin' high bass/low barri, and we're singin' some fun songs for the concert next week. Fillimirooriay, an irish american folk song; Cantate Domino, if you don't know this one, you haven't seen the punisher; A spanish carol/lullaby called A La Nanita Nana; Nuttin' for Christmas, love this one, known it since I was ten; And, to top it all off at the end, White Christmas. I do this one very, very well. And, often enough to drive my parents insane lol. Anywho...That's just me^^
